Guaranteed 700g Bakugan!
Okay, here is another idea about letting Spin Master know what you think- become a field-tester for many products, including Bakugan through Field Source, http://www.fieldsource.ca/index.html. You can join their panel and have the chance to share your opinion and try out new merchandise. Free products and compensation for your opinion is a real possibility, too. You don’t have to be over the age of 18 either (but if you are under 16, you do have to get your parents’ permission). To join the panel, fill out the short survey (it takes about 2 minutes) and wait for them to contact you.
After going over the basic team setup last month on Battle Tactic issue #16, we continue forward with BrightLight's Battle Tactic this month in reviewing the basic requirements and rules in setting up a brawl and winning a battle!
Game Set Up
In a 2 player game, both players sit across from each other in the field. The goal of the game is to be the first to capture 3 Gate Cards. Each player's right side is for unused Bakugan and Cards, called the "Unused Pile." All cards are placed faced down in your Unused Pile so your opponent can't see them. Each player's left side is for used Bakugan and Cards, called the "Used Pile."
To start, each player places one of their Gate Cards face down in the middle of the battlefield in the space closer to their opponent, furthest from themselves. Gate Cards are replaced when there are no more Gate Cads in the field.
Begin play with your Team Setup of 3 Bakugan, 3 Gate Card and 3 Ability Cards. Refer to Battle Tactic #16 for more info.
Roll to Battle
The youngest player goes first, and then players take turns. Players must be 2 cards lengths from the battlefield to begin their roll.
During your turn:
Select and roll your Bakugan over the Gate Cards in the center of the battlefield.
If the Bakugan misses and does not land on a Gate Card, it goes into your Used Pile. Now it is your opponent's turn.
If you do land on a Gate Card but no other Bakugan are standing on that Gate Card, it is your opponent's turn to roll.
If your Bakugan lands on a Gate Card where your opponent already has a standing Bakugan, then battle begins!
During battle, each player looks at the G-Power printed on the inside of their Bakugan. Then, flip over the Gate Card and look at the numbers on the left listed in the colored circles. Each circle matches a Bakugan Attribute which is called the Gate Attribute Bonus. Now each player adds the Gate Attribute Bonus that corresponds to their Bakugan. This is your total G-Power.
If there is no text on bottom of the Gate Card and no one plays any Ability Cards or any Support Pieces, the brawler with the high total G-Power wins the battle, captures the Gate Card and places it in their Used Pile. Remember, the first brawler to capture 3 Gate Cards wins the game! Now, each player places their battling Bakugan in their Used Pile.
Don't forget that before you roll, during your turn or after battle, you may play any applicable Ability Cards that are in your Unused Pile. You may even play ALL of your Ability Cards, but choose your cards wisely! Ability Cards go into your Used Pile once you have used them.
Also, during a battle, you may play a Support Piece such as Mechtogan, Mechtogan Titans, Mobile Assaults, Battle Gear or Traps. These Support Pieces will add a G-Power boost to help annihilate your opponent! Additionally you may use your BakuNano to give you the edge over your opponent!

"You're not the same guy who brought me out of my darkness." - Spectra to Dan
I'm going to risk the bashing I may receive from Dan-and-Drago fans and say out loud that if ever there was an episode where a person can purely hate Dan, it is this. Even the brawlers are hating him. I've never seen Marucho frown so angrily. Shun could barely hide his anger and frustration. Rafe and Paige are stunned and think so low of him, and even Spectra is disappointed in Dan. I hope Spectra returns quick. His exit was kinda dramatic in a sense that he won't appear for a while.
Well, to sum up the recap of this episode, it was a disaster for the brawlers... and Dan (I'm not including him in the team until he apologizes). Dan arrives with an engine full of smug arrogance and announces that he'll take care of all the Chaos Bakugan by himself. See first paragraph for the brawlers' expressions. He eventually calls for Zenthon, but loses control when he feels Mag Mel. Zenthon goes into a rampage and destroys just about anything, including the brawlers' Bakugan, until he goes off again. Sellon and Anubias then call forth all the BakuNano they possess for all their Bakugan and defeat Drago... And after all the destruction, Dan still hasn't learned his lesson.
Marucho eventually destroys that area of Bakugan Interspace to destroy all the remaining Chaos Bakugan. Then it's on to a Dan-bashing session. Rafe and Paige certainly didn't go easy on him. Marucho was holding back, but there really was a lot of anger in his outburst. Shun was still calm --- on the outside. Inside, he was itching to punch something, and I was wishing it would be Dan's nose.
Dan's display of crazy and power in one gave Mag Mel and Razenoid the needed energy to finally break free! And it's like Mag Mel never runs out of Chaos Bakugan because once he got settled in Gundalia, his entire army was ready to attack.
Can we say that this episode was correctly titled? Because I don't think anyone saw Dan as a hero here. In the end, the area was still destroyed, Dan still has no complete control over his Mechtogan, and Mag Mel and Razenoid are free!

Next week, the team is out on Gundalia to fight against Mag Mel and the Chaos Bakugan. Plus, we get to see Fabia and Ren again! And Linehalt and Aranaut! It would be interesting if Hawktor, Sabator, and Akwimos, and Linus and Rubanoid would appear as well, and the Gundalian gang, too. But we shouldn't get our hopes up. Let's just see whose familiar faces we will get to see next week. Watch out for it at Bakugan Tv Show.
Look into my eye and tell me why you post this episode so late?!
I'm sure you guys have already seen this episode via CN or Teletoon or Youtube. Hence, I'll just touch on what's new and what's hot in the episode, rather than dive into a recap/summary like I usually do.
First and foremost, there is the ultimate grand entrance of probably the most loved brawler right now --- Spectra! Now as a Darkus brawler, he's come to help the brawlers and complete the team of 6. Also with him, of course, is the ever loyal and evolved Darkus Infinity Helios. The duo is still at it with their new body improvements and mechanical evolutions.
New Bakunanos were also shown in this episode. Trister's Crosstriker and Taylean's Hammermor were given by Rafe. Paige also brought out Boulderon's Slingpike in their battle against the many Chaos Bakugan.
You can watch the episode again here:

We've also just found out in this episode that Anubias' team members have no involvement in Anubias and Sellon's work for Mag Mel. Iwonder how they'll react when they discover what their team leader is really up to... and that he's Gundalian. That would be interesting. Now if they don't know this about their leader, I'm guessing Chris and Soon don't know about Sellon's allegiance to Mag Mel, too.
Dan and Drago are also back from their training in New Vestroia. They got back in time, but the brawlers may not be as welcoming as he would think. We'll have to wait and see the next episode how the reunion turns out! Watch out for it, as well as the other episodes, at Bakugan Tv Show.

What if you could be a “product tester” for Spin Master? What would you change about Bakugan, if anything? How would you make the products better? Would you add new features or make up new rules to the game? How might you change the way they market Bakugan? Maybe you even have a new idea for a marble or a spin-off series.
Bandai, makers of Ben 10, Power Rangers, and Harumika, has done just that. They recently held a contest and from the entries chose 8-year-old James Childs to join their toy testing team. Check out his first review found on YouTube:
Okay, he’s just a little guy, but what a great job anyway. He is the first to try out the new products, he gets to keep the duplicates, and many of the new toys are donated to his local children’s hospital.
So, here’s your chance to share your new ideas with Spin Master. It’s buried a little deep, but you can submit your inventions to Spin Master through the website. You do have to be over the age 18 to submit, so if you’re not, get an adult to help out. Visit the Spin Master website, www.spinmaster.com. Select Company at the top of the page. Under About Us choose Company Contacts. In this pop-up scroll down until you see Inventors. Just follow that link until you get to the submission form. Read the fine print- there’s not much- and submit your idea. The idea doesn’t even have to be a new Bakugan idea. Maybe you have something completely different in mind. Never know where it might lead!
