ep41 wiseman coredegon 300x204 New Bakugan Episode – Mechtanium Surge Episode 41: Evil Evolution
    He's a moooooonsteeeer!!!!

Things really have gotten weirder than ever. Wiseman is Coredegon! How does a Mechtogan disguise itself as a human?! Ahh, the days when everything was still so simple between brawlers and Bakugan… they seem so far away now, especially with a Mechtogan able to shrink itself into human form.

When Wiseman revealed itself to be Coredegon, the Nonet Bakugan finally realised that he never meant to help them in their wish to get revenge on Drago. Coredegon was about to destroy the brawlers when they intervened and attacked him. As a result, the brawlers were able to get away to safety. The knowledge that Wiseman and Gunz were different strengthened their resolve to defeat Coredegon and save Gunz. Meanwhile, the Nonet Bakugan were given a choice between destruction and an eternal and miserable life in the Doom Dimension.

Coredegon called on Mandibor, Slycerak, and Exostriker to start with their destructive plans, and the brawlers meet them with everything they have. But the Mechtogans prove to be hard to defeat. Both sides fused and combined, and the Mechtogans formed an ultra powerful Mechtavius Destroyer! In response, the brawlers call on Dragonoid Destroyer, Ventus Thorax, and Aquos Flytruss. It appears as if Mechtavius Destroyer is invincible, however, and the brawlers are being trampled on.

As this battle rages, Gunz and the Nonet Bakugan join forces to fight against Coredegon and the Mechtogans. Gunz agrees to be their brawler, and dons Wiseman’s helmet. His rage and determination for revenge transforms his suit to the color of raging red. And for the second time, the Nonet Bakugan come to intervene in the brawlers’ battle against Mechtavius Destoyer, with the declared intention of defeating the brawlers first then Coredgon next. They are now led by Gunz in red Wiseman form. But before anyone could do anything, Coredegon creates a portal to the Doom Dimension and transports the brawlers and their Bakugan!

BattleBrawlers logo Bakugan Community Has Shut Down?!

Woah. I was on personal hiatus for the past two weeks and I come back to this staggering news.

It was announced last week that the official Bakugan Community forums were going to be closing on December 15th --- yesterday! As of today, my.bakugan.com is no longer accessible and you will be redirected to www.Bakugan.com if you try to go to this site address. Thankfully, their Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube accounts will still be maintained and available to us. We can also still expect more new and exciting Bakugan to come out in the future! The Bakugan Community may have closed down but the Bakugan game lives on!

ep27 subterragirls 300x203 New Bakugan Episode – Mechtanium Surge Episode 27: Evil Arrival
    Go Subterra!

The second part of the Mechtanium Surge season feels like another season entirely. Sure, the main 3 are still the kings in Bakugan brawling, but there have been many changes as well. No sign of fan-fave Spectra and the duo of Rafe and Paige. No mention of Gundalia and Neathia. Now it's Vestals and Earth and the Doom Dimension (for a short while). But hey, Mira and Julie are back!

There are additions as well, many of them , in fact. It really does feel like a brand new season of Bakugan with the amount of new stuff in here. Dan, Shun, and Marucho even got new clothes; Dan kind of adopted Naruto's penchant for a long-sleeved jacket, Shun's got longer hair, and Marucho.. well, actually Marucho didn't change that much. He also still prefers Bakugan who talk a lot.

Perhaps the most significant addition is the new Haos brawler, Gunz Lazar, and his Bakugan, Haos Reptak. He thinks of himself as Dan's greatest rival, and is certainly as obsessed in beating Dan as Anubias was.

Dan still has Fusion Dragonoid, but Shun and Marucho have new Bakugan! There's no explanation on what happened to Taylean and Trister. It's like any connection to Gundalia and Neathia is being taken out for this episode. Anyways, Shun is now with Ventus Jaakor, who is said to be a ninja Bakugan and partners Shun perfectly in battle. Marucho has Aquos Radizen as his Bakugan. Radizen is not as talkative as Marucho's previous Bakugan, but this is still the first episode where he's appeared so we'll see.

Shun with Ventus Jaakor and Marucho with Aquos Radizen

Back to the story. Apparently, all the Bakugan in New Vestroia went to Earth and became part of the lives of humans. It was like everyone on Earth had their own Bakugan now. Meanwhile, at the Doom Dimension, four rebel Mechtogans fought against the Bakugan there that wanted to stop them from leaving the dimension. The Mechtogans wanted to create the new age of the Mechtogans, where they would not be subject to a Bakugan or a brawler. They found out about all the Bakugan living on Earth and decided to go there to fight for domination.

They arrived just when Dan and Gunz were brawling, and it was there that they wreaked havoc on the arena. The Mechtogans proved to be powerful, defeating Shun, Marucho, and Gunz. Even Dan and Drago were having a hard time. The Mechtogans even combined to form Mechtavius Destroyer, and Dan and Drago had to summon Dragonoid Destroyer to defeat them. It was like Power Rangers and Gundam combined, and Gundam won.

    Mechtavius Destroyer and Dragonoid Destroyer

Where did Dragonoid Destroyer come from anyway, and how did he come to be? Were Zenthon and Zenthon Titan really destroyed back when they battled Mag Mel? There are a lot of questions that need to be answered, because this episode is fast-paced and leaves a lot of wholes to the storyline.

Go to the Bakugan Tv Show to watch the previous episodes if you want. Some of our questions will hopefully be answered in the next episode, like who this guy Wiseman is and his purpose.

battletacticslogo Battle Tactic #19: Guest Brawler Strategy #2 – August 2011

This month's Battle Tactic strategy is shared by My.Bakugan.com member haosmaster001, and uses the following Bakugan and cards:

    Bakugan
Baku Sky Raider: Haos Jaakor 910 G-Power
Baku Sky Raider: Haos Skytruss 900 G-Power
    Mechtogan: Haos Venexus 170 G-Power

    Bakunano
    Gold Hyper Pulsor +70 G-Power
    Silver CrosStriker +70 G-Power
    Copper Bombaplode +80 G-Power

    Gate Cards
    Gold Waterlogged
    Silver The Spires
    Copper Tri-Color Boot

    Ability Cards
    Blue Late Sunrise
    Green Sun-Power Boost
    Red Try Again

Here's how this Battle Tactic goes:

Start by Setting Waterlogged. Stand Skytruss on your Gate, and your opponent will almost automatically win, because they gain the bonus two more times. Let your opponent win, so that their Bakugan lose 100 Gs.

Then, set The Spires. Haos has the second highest Attribute Bonus, (at 110) having a Bonus at least 40 G-Power higher then the other bonus, except Ventus, which is 40 Gs higher. Stand Jaakor. With a weakened opponent, you'll probably win. If you are losing, try to use Sun-Power Boost to win. If that won't work, try Activating Venexus and equipping with CrosStriker, for a total of (910 + 110 + 300 OR 910 + 110 + 170 + 70) 1,320 OR 1,260 G-Power!

Finally, Set Tri-Color Boot and Stand either Bakugan. If your opponent also Stands on that Gate, brawl, and you'll have at least 1,150 Gs, because the Haos Attribute Bonus is 250 G-Power. If you rolled all your Bakugan into the Used Pile, then all of them should come back, including your Mechtogan. Use Venexus and equip with Bombaplode for 250 more G-Power. If you stood Jaakor, then you should have 1,410 G-Power, and win.
