It's finally here: the final battle between Dan and Drago versus Mag Mel and Razenoid. It's also a challenge for the rest of the brawlers to defend Earth and obliterate all the Chaos Bakuagn and Mechtogan. The enemies are proving to be numerous and hard to take down, so what is it going to take for Dan and Drago to destroy Mag Mel and Razenoid and stop the destruction of Earth and other worlds?
Everyone is certainly going all out. Spectra and Gus are back in battle mode with a tag team. Shun has summoned Silent Strike Titan for more power, and Marucho is roaring for the other brawlers not to give up. Paige and Rafe are certainly determined to stop the menace that will turn to Gundalia and Neathia if it succeeds on destroying Earth. Chris and Soon are finally showing some spunk in here! There's only two of them fighting in the area, compared to Team Anubias who has four members, and they're not complaining and just fight head on! That's girl power there.
But the boys are doing well, too, if we exclude the part where they got disheartened there or a while before Marucho set them straight. Noah also takes some inspiration from the ghost of Anubias. This kid is really stepping it up, it's like he's even taking the leadership position of the team sometimes. And then there's also the Team Anubias victory pose (which kind of reminds me of the poses Gohan of DragonBallz makes as the Saiyan man):
Meanwhile, Dan and Drago is hit hard by a powerful Mag Mel and monstrous Razenoid. Their Mechtogan and Titans eventually destroyed each other to protect their masters. Still, Mag Mel and Razenoid seem to have the upper hand... until Dan and Drago uses the power of the Gate and Key and Drago evolves again! He is now Fusion Dragonoid, with the latest difference to his appearance very visible on his wings.
Fusion Dragonoid
Dan and Fusion Dragonoid eventually defeated Mag Mel and Razenoid. Mag Mel made an effort to bring Dan and Drago down with him to the death when all the energy from Bakugan Interspace burst out of him. But, hey, you can't kill the main protagonist this easily! Come on.. no one is going to fall for this even if the other brawlers think Dan and Drago may have sacrificed themselves. Right? *wink*
When Mag Mel and Razenoid were destroyed, so were the Chaos Bakugan and Mechtogan on Earth. The planet and the people also came back to normal, and the Dark Moon was crumbling, with Dan and Drago carried down in a circle of light. It would've been a great ending.. if only it didn't make me think of why a cyber apparition named Dylan is on Earth.

These guys are hard to kill!
We are nearing the end of the series, which means it's all-out war and fighting here on out. Last week episode left a cliffhanger, where the brawlers managed to get out to the real world (minus Spectra and Helios), and found a dark moon floating in the sky. Turns out this is still Mag Mel's work and he continued to use his powers by transporting all humans except the brawlers to an inverted dark dimension of Earth.
And how would there be war without Mag Mel's Chaos Bakugan and Mechtogans? These were unleashed once again as the beginning of Mag Mel's plan to annihilate Earth, then Gundalia, Neathia, New Vestroia, and Vestal! He has also dispatched Mechtogan Titans to drill into the Earth's core to destroy the Earth. Naturally the brawlers weren't just going to let this happen. So war it is!
The brawlers were doing well at first, but the Chaos Bakugan were endless. Shun had to call Silent Strike for reinforcements. When it wasn't enough, he called on their Mechtogan Titan, Faser Titan. Shun is definitely second to Spectra in bringing a lot of action in this episode.
Even when Spectra and Helios came through their portal to help, in the end, Mag Mel and Razenoid still emerged powerful. This is not to say that the brawlers were losing badly. This are the Bakugan Battle Brawlers! They'll make it hard for the villain to win!
Spectra was able to help with a lot of the battles, that's for sure. For one, it was his idea to morph three Bakugan: Drago, Helios, and Taylean! And so we get Drago with not so many changes, Taylean with Drago's wings, and Helios with the stick legs.
Oh! And let's not forget Gus! Gus --- who has always been and is apparently still Spectra's most loyal servant-friend-sidekick-whatever, who is unknowingly Chris' and Soon's model in fanatic idolizing, and who we can guess have just been inside the ship all these times that Spectra and Helios appeared. He's in command of the ship while Spectra's on the ground battling.
Spectra and Gus have created another Bakugan booster called the Battle Suit. Spectra has Helios using the Doomtronic, while Shun was given the Blasterate. Dan might get his someday, but for now he'll have to satisfied with his Mobile Assualt Rapilator.

Bakugan Mechtanium Surge Episode 25: Dark Moon
Next week, Dan and Drago are going to fight it out with Mag Mel and Razenoid. The others will have to do their best to stop the Chaos Bakugan on Earth, as well as those five Mechtogan Titans drilling into the core. Plus, Gus gets to get out of the ship and into the action! This is goodbye to you, Dylan!
With the preview last week and the episode's title, we were pretty much assured that Dylan would be eliminated in this episode as well. He is kind of the core of Bakugan Interspace, after all. It only makes sense that for an armageddon to happen in Interspace, Dylan goes along with it to oblivion!
But this guy has become as sleazy as he is creepy. He's definitely not going out without a fight. There have been movies about computers and AI attempting to eliminate humankind so Dylan's act shouldn't come as a surprise. As Marucho, his father, and Kato hatch up a plan to get the remaining brawlers in Interspace out and delete the whole system, Dylan makes his own plans to stop his termination.
When the brawlers make way to the the designated access point, Dylan tips off the Chaos Bakugan and our protagonists are surrounded. Nothing for it but to fight and get out of Interspace in small groups. I wonder why Marucho didn't think about Dylan wreaking havoc on them when they know that Dylan has become an evolved and thinking intelligence.
There's 20 minutes until the whole of Interspace is destroyed. There doesn't seem to be an end to the Chaos Bakugan, and then out comes the Mechtogans to overpower the brawlers. Surprisingly, only Shun brings out his Mechtogan Silent Strike. So, of course, the brawlers are still losing while trying to defend the access point. And then comes the most in demand brawler and his Bakugan of the season:
Spectra and Helios are back! Hear them RAAAWWWRRR!!!
It seems that Spectra and Helios are serving as cleaners in this series. It feels like we don't really have a Darkus brawler in season 4, other than the villain. But then I guess we're back to the same game plan as season 1, where the Darkus attribute is the evil one and the five others battle against it. Oh, we should also welcome Spectra's Mechtogan --- Slynix!
It also seems like Spectra can clean up on his own, without the help of the brawlers. He, Helios, and Slynix were doing great in eliminating the Chaos Bakugan. But, of course, as the series' main protagonists, Dan and Drago have to have their share of the limelight. It was mostly Dan and Drago and Spectra and Helios battling against the Chaos Bakugan in the latter part, while the others take their turn to get out of Interspace. They even attempted a mutation (nothing really changes in their monster form, but the Bakugan balls are awesome)!
And the 20 minutes were up! It was time to go or be deleted with Interspace.. and Dylan (I'm not going to miss this guy). But more reinforcements for the Chaos Bakugan arrive and someone had to fend them off. Since Dan and Drago are important and the frontrunners of the show, it was evident that Spectra and Helios had to stay and fight off the enemies while Dan and Drago get transported back to the real world. I really hope this isn't goodbye!
Their Last Stand?

Bakugan Mechtanium Surge Episode 24: Interspace Armageddon
So.. do Spectra and Helios live or die? I'm crossing my fingers that they managed to get away. And seeing as their ship appears in the preview of next week's episode, I am not giving up hope! Watch out for the next episodes, or watch the previous ones, on Bakugan Tv Show.
The Knight in Shining Armor
Well, the series is moving along nicely fast, and we ought to congratulate those who have guessed who Mag Mel really is behind that awful mask. Bravo! I myself didn't really think that it would be him.
Going back to the episode, Team Anubias is on the defensive and even Noah is finally standing up to fight against the Chaos Bakugan. I'm wondering where they got those Bakugan to battle with. But I'm not complaining as long as they're in on the action, unlike Chris and Soon. These girls have some idolatry issues. Soon does, at least. All she does half the episode is mope and whine that all hope is lost. Thankfully, Chris is sane enough to pull her through, and with the help of Team Anubias and the Battle Brawlers, they finally stood up to fight. And again, I was left wondering where they got their Bakugan.
I also found it funny that while Noah proclaims himself as their knight in shining armor, it was the cool guy Shun who got the girls inspired to battle. Team Sellon is really crazy over battlers with grace.
Meanwhile, Dan and Drago linked up with Mag Mel and Razenoid, crossing over to the darker dimension of Interspace to battle Mag Mel. And it felt like Star Wars the way they pulled out light sabers. And just imagine how more similar it became to that "I am your father" scene in Star Wars when Mag Mel's mask came off to reveal... Barodius! This would, of course, translate to Razenoid being Dharak once. Both were imprisoned by Code Eve and banished to a different dimension, until they were able to channel enough power through the brawlers to get free.
Both sides went all out on the battle. It was Dan vs. Mag Mel with their light sabers, Drago vs. Razenoid, Zenthon vs. Dreadeon, and Zenthon Titan vs. Razen Titan. Were it not for the link to break, the battle would've been finished. But alas! We're not done with the series so the villain has to live to die another episode.

Bakugan Mechtanium Surge Episode 23: Behind the Mask
Next episode is a continuation of Marucho's problem: getting the brawlers out of Interspace. He's hooked Dylan into helping him get some communication access to the outside world. We'll see if he'll be successful with this mission next week. Watch out for the next episodes, or watch the previous ones, on Bakugan Tv Show.
