Okay, here is another idea about letting Spin Master know what you think- become  a field-tester for many products, including Bakugan through Field Source, http://www.fieldsource.ca/index.html.  You can join their panel and have the chance to share your opinion and try out new merchandise.  Free products and compensation for your opinion is a real possibility, too.  You don’t have to be over the age of 18 either (but if you are under 16, you do have to get your parents’ permission).  To join the panel, fill out the short survey (it takes about 2 minutes) and wait for them to contact you.fieldsource Tell Em What You Think part 2

What if you could be a “product tester” for Spin Master?  What would you change about Bakugan, if anything?  How would you make the products better?  Would you add new features or make up new rules to the game?  How might you change the way they market Bakugan? Maybe you even have a new idea for a marble or a spin-off series.

Bandai, makers of Ben 10, Power Rangers, and Harumika, has done just that.  They recently held a contest and from the entries chose 8-year-old James Childs to join their toy testing team.  Check out his first review found on YouTube:

Okay, he’s just a little guy, but what a great job anyway.  He is the first to try out the new products, he gets to keep the duplicates, and many of the new toys are donated to his local children’s hospital.

So, here’s your chance to share your new ideas with Spin Master.  It’s buried a little deep, but you can submit your inventions to Spin Master through the website.  You do have to be over the age 18 to submit, so if you’re not, get an adult to help out.  Visit the Spin Master website, www.spinmaster.com.  Select Company at the top of the page.  Under About Us choose Company Contacts.  In this pop-up scroll down until you see Inventors.  Just follow that link until you get to the submission form.  Read the fine print- there’s not much- and submit your idea.  The idea doesn’t even have to be a new Bakugan idea.  Maybe you have something completely different in mind.  Never know where it might lead!

I’m sure you have heard of the recent tsunami and quake that rocked Japan. It has devastated many lives, families, and homes.  As you can imagine, it’s really hard on the kids.  Talk about having your whole world turned upside down!  In response to the devastating experience, TMS Entertainment of Japan recently streamed four family and children’s movies free, including Bakugan Brawlers.

Taking the aid for quake relief in Japan a step further, Spin Master is donating $100,000 to help bring aid and comfort to the victims of the Japan earthquake.  The money is being donated through Red Cross and Israel’s Forum for International Humanitarian Aid, IsraAID.  Spin Master works with Japan Vistec on the Bakugan brand.

How can you help with the ongoing rescue and restoration efforts in Japan?

    • You can donate through such sites as American Red Cross or Kids In Distressed Situations (kidsdonations.org)
    • Hold a fundraiser at your school, church, or neighborhood
    • Sell a few collectible Bakugans and donate the money to help

The season started a year after the battle between the Gundalian Protectors and the Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Dan, Shun, and Marucho were back in the Bakugan gaming, playing in the newly created interface for the Bakugan world. New interest in the game emerged and with that the explosion of interest, the competition for the spot as the no 1 Bakugan player tightens; especially with the appearance of new contenders such as the Team Sellon and Team Anubias.

Team Sellon is an all-girl team composed of Sellon – who acts as the leader of the team, Cris –who is the youngest in the team and is very vocal about her thoughts and feelings,  and lastly, Soon – a mellow girl who dresses in Victorian type clothes. Their objective is to get the number one spot in the Bakugan leader board; the other team, Team Anubias, however, is the counterpart of Team Sellon. Composed of three guys under the leadership of Anubias, the other members include Ben, a big guy who battled Dan in the first episode, Jack, the youngest in the team, and another yet-to-be-named guy. The known characters’ attributes were Darkus, Pyrus, and Aquos, respectively.

The Bakugan interface was great at first; but it grew exponentially that many people could enter and exploit the world freely. According to Shun, “In order to grow, everything must evolve. It is the natural path of progression.” A mentality expected of Shun. Dan, however, has different perspective. He thinks that the Balkugan world just rock that’s why people from all over the world flock the Bakugan interface.

However, the competition and the Bakugan world were threatened by a new enemy who mysteriously appeared in the middle of Marucho’s fight with an unknown player. The new powerful enemy, later to be known as Mechtogan Zenthon, was actually released from Drago’s excess power. Mechtogans, a bio-mechanical hybrid, are powerful creatures that can repel regular Bakugan attacks, no matter how powerful it is. In episode two, both Sellon and Anubias tried to contain the Mechtogan, to no avail. Questions resurfaced. The Bakugan interface world is in jeopardy. While keeping up with the competition, can theBakugan Battle Brawlers contain Drago’s excess power? And can they stop the mysterious enemy from building his evil empire designated for world domination?

Stay tuned for new Mechtanium Surge episodes!
