Anubias is the leader of a new powerhouse team storming Bakugan Interspace. He admires Dan's battle style and is determined to claim the title as number one.

Season 4 - Mechtanium Surge
- Anubias is the leader of Team Anubias, a team of Darkus, Pyrus, and Aquos brawlers, with members Ben, Robin, and Jack, and most currently Dan's ex-fan Noah.
- Anubias is the 2nd ranked brawler in Interspace at the start of the season, right behind Dan. After defeating Dan and Dan's disqualification, he became the number 1 brawler in Bakugan Interspace.
- He is bent on defeating Dan even though he admires Dan's brawling skills. He has recently grown more obsessed in battling Dan.
- He is only human in disguise. He is actually a Gundalian.
- Anubias and Sellon are rivals in Interspace, but they are actually working together for Mag Mel. It is unknown if their team members know of their affiliation with Mag Mel.
- His main attribute is Darkus, with Darkus Horridian as his partner. But he has also shown that he can battle with Pyrus Bakugan as well.
