Guaranteed 700g Bakugan!
This is goodbye to you, Dylan!
With the preview last week and the episode's title, we were pretty much assured that Dylan would be eliminated in this episode as well. He is kind of the core of Bakugan Interspace, after all. It only makes sense that for an armageddon to happen in Interspace, Dylan goes along with it to oblivion!
But this guy has become as sleazy as he is creepy. He's definitely not going out without a fight. There have been movies about computers and AI attempting to eliminate humankind so Dylan's act shouldn't come as a surprise. As Marucho, his father, and Kato hatch up a plan to get the remaining brawlers in Interspace out and delete the whole system, Dylan makes his own plans to stop his termination.
When the brawlers make way to the the designated access point, Dylan tips off the Chaos Bakugan and our protagonists are surrounded. Nothing for it but to fight and get out of Interspace in small groups. I wonder why Marucho didn't think about Dylan wreaking havoc on them when they know that Dylan has become an evolved and thinking intelligence.
There's 20 minutes until the whole of Interspace is destroyed. There doesn't seem to be an end to the Chaos Bakugan, and then out comes the Mechtogans to overpower the brawlers. Surprisingly, only Shun brings out his Mechtogan Silent Strike. So, of course, the brawlers are still losing while trying to defend the access point. And then comes the most in demand brawler and his Bakugan of the season:
Spectra and Helios are back! Hear them RAAAWWWRRR!!!
It seems that Spectra and Helios are serving as cleaners in this series. It feels like we don't really have a Darkus brawler in season 4, other than the villain. But then I guess we're back to the same game plan as season 1, where the Darkus attribute is the evil one and the five others battle against it. Oh, we should also welcome Spectra's Mechtogan --- Slynix!
It also seems like Spectra can clean up on his own, without the help of the brawlers. He, Helios, and Slynix were doing great in eliminating the Chaos Bakugan. But, of course, as the series' main protagonists, Dan and Drago have to have their share of the limelight. It was mostly Dan and Drago and Spectra and Helios battling against the Chaos Bakugan in the latter part, while the others take their turn to get out of Interspace. They even attempted a mutation (nothing really changes in their monster form, but the Bakugan balls are awesome)!
And the 20 minutes were up! It was time to go or be deleted with Interspace.. and Dylan (I'm not going to miss this guy). But more reinforcements for the Chaos Bakugan arrive and someone had to fend them off. Since Dan and Drago are important and the frontrunners of the show, it was evident that Spectra and Helios had to stay and fight off the enemies while Dan and Drago get transported back to the real world. I really hope this isn't goodbye!
Their Last Stand?

So.. do Spectra and Helios live or die? I'm crossing my fingers that they managed to get away. And seeing as their ship appears in the preview of next week's episode, I am not giving up hope! Watch out for the next episodes, or watch the previous ones, on Bakugan Tv Show.
The Knight in Shining Armor
Well, the series is moving along nicely fast, and we ought to congratulate those who have guessed who Mag Mel really is behind that awful mask. Bravo! I myself didn't really think that it would be him.
Going back to the episode, Team Anubias is on the defensive and even Noah is finally standing up to fight against the Chaos Bakugan. I'm wondering where they got those Bakugan to battle with. But I'm not complaining as long as they're in on the action, unlike Chris and Soon. These girls have some idolatry issues. Soon does, at least. All she does half the episode is mope and whine that all hope is lost. Thankfully, Chris is sane enough to pull her through, and with the help of Team Anubias and the Battle Brawlers, they finally stood up to fight. And again, I was left wondering where they got their Bakugan.
I also found it funny that while Noah proclaims himself as their knight in shining armor, it was the cool guy Shun who got the girls inspired to battle. Team Sellon is really crazy over battlers with grace.
Meanwhile, Dan and Drago linked up with Mag Mel and Razenoid, crossing over to the darker dimension of Interspace to battle Mag Mel. And it felt like Star Wars the way they pulled out light sabers. And just imagine how more similar it became to that "I am your father" scene in Star Wars when Mag Mel's mask came off to reveal... Barodius! This would, of course, translate to Razenoid being Dharak once. Both were imprisoned by Code Eve and banished to a different dimension, until they were able to channel enough power through the brawlers to get free.
Both sides went all out on the battle. It was Dan vs. Mag Mel with their light sabers, Drago vs. Razenoid, Zenthon vs. Dreadeon, and Zenthon Titan vs. Razen Titan. Were it not for the link to break, the battle would've been finished. But alas! We're not done with the series so the villain has to live to die another episode.

Next episode is a continuation of Marucho's problem: getting the brawlers out of Interspace. He's hooked Dylan into helping him get some communication access to the outside world. We'll see if he'll be successful with this mission next week. Watch out for the next episodes, or watch the previous ones, on Bakugan Tv Show.
This month's Battle Tactics session brings a strategy shared by a member of the my.Bakugan Community member BurningPyrus. Pyrus brawlers, here's something new for you!
According to BurningPyrus, you will be needing these pieces or the strategy to work:
Pyrus Skyress 250g or Pyrus Dragonoid (MS Evolution Pack exclusive)
Overhang (or any trick card)
Doom Card
BurningPyrus' strategy:
First set Overhang or a trick card face down on the field. Then roll either Pyrus Skyress 250g or Pyrus Dragonoid (MS Evolution Pack Exclusive) onto Overhang or whatever trick card you chose. Your opponent will think they'll have an easy win by rolling a high g-power bakugan onto the gate, but when the gate is revealed the text says The Bakugan with the lowest G-Power total wins this battle. And with Pyrus having the lowest attribute gate bonus you're sure to land a win regardless but wait your opponent may use that same Bakugan in a future battle. Play your Doom Card (if you have it) to make sure your opponent's Bakugan is removed from the game.
Yep! Sky is the Limit!
Sellon was eliminated by the backstabbing Mag Mel in the previous episode. After four seasons, I think it's already been established beforehand that once one of the enemy is killed off, the others just follow. And as there's only Anubias now that is kinda in the way of Mag Mel's complete ressurection, he would naturally be getting the axe in the latest episode.
His last moments weren't so bad compared to Sellon. He got to have the best Bakugan battle of his life, after all. He had to kidnap Noah to lure Dan. Thankfully, he left Noah alone after that. This is proof that Anubias wasn't really a bad guy at heart. He just wanted a super intense battle with the best battler.
Now Anubias is someone who does anything to get what he wants, even if that means cheating a little by calling 3 Bakugan to fight against Drago. This battle was going to show the world that the victor was the best Bakugan brawler, but summoning three Bakugan against only one is actually already a sign that Dan and Drago is a powerful combo. Losing to them, with three on one, would just be a confirmation.
Right when I thought Anubias had nothing more to show but guts and more Bakugan and Mechtogan, he pulled a Bakugan Mutation between Aquos Krakenoid and Haos Krowll! The resulting Bakugan are the Aquos/Haos Mutant Krakenoid and Haos/Aquos Mutant Krowll.
He also pulled out Venexus Titan, to counter Zenthon Titan when Dan and Drago called him to take out Venexus, Deezall, and Smasheon. We finally get to see another Mechtogan Titan!

How can someone trust a face like this?
Sellon is back, and this episode can be described as her swan song.
Here's what I don't like about fanatics. They worship their idol like a goddess, think everything she does is right, and cannot see the reality that she's just plain evil and using them even when it's staring at them in the face. Chris and Soon definitely have this problem. All those time of lying to them and using them should have given them a heads up that Sellon is faithful only to Mag Mel. But they are quick to accept that Sellon has changed. Yeah, right.
Dan is more cautious. He wants to give Sellon a chance, but he knows she can't be trusted. The others are just as suspicious, with Shun definitely never trusting her ever again. Dan doesn't reach a decision, as Chaos Bakugan begin to attack again. Dan goes to fight with Rafe and Paige, while Shun and Marucho keep watch over Sellon and her two pawns. But another attack is detected and Shun goes off to take care of it. With Sellon alone in her cell, she carries out her plan to draw Dan to her and finally take the Key.
And take it she does! Shun arrives and gives chase. It looks like another showdown between the two best Ventus brawlers of the season...
"You are out of your mind! You and I are nothing aliiiiiiike!"
... until Chris and Soon interferes, fanatically trying to defend their mistress. It's only another heartbreak for them, however. Sellon escapes, leaving Chris and Soon with the dreaded truth that they are nothing to her. The truth will set you free, Chris and Soon!
So.. now what? Mag Mel now has both the Gate and the Key. He is set to be fully resurrected, and Sellon wants to witness the world that he will create... NOT! Just like the ultimate villain in almost every show, Mag Mel turns on Sellon and wipes out her existence. In the end, she, too, was just a pawn.
