Waiting For May-June Releases!

This May and June has indeed been an exciting one!

We've just finished up with the second season of the Bakugan anime series last week, and we're starting on the third arc of the series. Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders is scheduled to be up in Canada on May 23rd, and here in the United States it'll be on May 29th. There's just days to go before we get to see the new characters and new Bakugan on screen!

Back in April, Lord Darkus also gave us a preview of the new Bakugan coming our way:

CORE: Aranaut, Akwimos, Krakix, Sabator, Lumino Dragonoid, and Hakapoid
SUPER ASSAULT: Glotronoid, Splight, Raptorix, Mystic Chancer, and Merlix
BATTLE GEAR: Boomix, Chompixx, Battle Sabre, and Zukanator

With these new Bakugan also comes the new Bakugan card sets. Bakugan.com already has the newest cards on their archives. We here at Bakugan Buzz will be adding these as well once we have aligned all their card numbers. Here are a couple of the new cards:

Last but definitely not the least, let us not forget that Bakugan Dimensions will be coming this June! We've had a very long wait since March. Let us hope that come this June, the Bakugan Dimension will be finally up and open for all the Bakugan brawlers out there.

New Bakugan Episode – New Vestroia Episode 52: Final Fury

And it's a wrap for the second season of the Bakugan series! It's the final episode, and we're more than excited for the third season, Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders, which will premiere on the last week of May. For now, however, let's watch the ending for the New Vestroia arc, where Mira and Keith head on to their father and the Resistance trying with all their might.

BATTLE TACTIC #5: BATTLE GEAR – MAY 2010

Moving right along with Battle Gear, one of your first decisions when creating your “team” will be choosing your Battle Gear. Now, this can be a fairly simple task, so let’s take a look at your options.

PICKING YOUR BATTLE GEAR

When you’re getting ready to play, you can choose up to two Battle Gear and/or two Bakugan Trap. This means you can pick two Battle Gear, OR two Bakugan Trap, OR one Battle Gear and one Trap.

So which Battle Gear do you choose?

You could just pick the highest G-Power Battle Gear that you have, but using Battle Gear that matches the attributes of your Bakugan can be great too, even if that gear doesn’t have the highest G-Power.

Besides choosing by G-Power, you may want to consider your strategy using your Bakugan attribute(s).

One strategy is to play with all Bakugan of the same attribute: all Ventus or all Sub Terra, for example. Or, since each Battle Gear has special abilities for two different attributes, you can mix and match Bakugan with two different attributes and still get to use the special abilities on your Battle Gear Reference Cards.

Another advantage to picking a two-attribute combo of Bakugan is that you’ll have more flexibility during play. You’ll be able to pick which of your Bakugan to roll based on which of the Battle Gear’s abilities you want!

Choose wisely. Create your ultimate combo. Devastate your opponent.

With so many options, feel free to experiment with different combinations and soon you’ll hone in on the Battle Gear strategy that works best for your Bakugan “team”!

April showers bring May funnies!

As every brawler sifts through their local Sunday newspaper, the ‘Funnies’ section is the first destination for some great comedy and stories. Now surely you’ve asked yourself, “If Gundalian Invaders Bakugan had their own Funnies in the paper, what would it look like?”

During the month of May, show off your Gundalian Invaders humor by submitting your most witty comic strip featuring Gundalian Invaders Bakugan, Super Assault and/or Battle Gear. Create your hilarious Gundalian Funnies, share a few laughs with your fellow brawlers and enter for your chance to win!

Check out last year’s May 2009 Bakugan Comic Contest here to gain some inspiration from the most hilarious comics that we received.

The top three entries at the end of the month, May 31st, will be awarded the following Bakugan Prize Pack: One (1) Bakugan Gundalian Invaders BakuTriad, one (1) Bakugan Super Assault Booster Pack, one (1) Bakugan Season 2 New Vestroia Character Pack and one (1) Season 2 New Vestroia Bakugan BakuGauntlet! Additionally, one randomly selected entry will receive the same Bakugan Prize Pack, which means brawlers of all skill levels have a chance to win.

New Bakugan Episode – New Vestroia Episode 51: All For One

One more episode to go! But for now, let us be content with the second-to-the-last episode of the New Vestroia arc o the Bakugan series. The Brawlers Resistance is going all out to destroy the Alternative. And while the Dan, Marucho, Shun, and Ace clear some path, Keith and Mira will have to brawl some sense into that insane father of theirs.
