New Bakugan Episode – Gundalian Invaders Episode 26: Forgiveness

Before the anime series began, I read a description about how Ren had not only Linehalt as a Bakugan but also Rubanoid and Phosphos. I'm not sure how Phosphos will come to Ren, but now we know that Ren can use Rubanoid, too.

This week's episode is about Fabia's forgiveness and acceptance of Ren. We also get to know something about Fabia's and Aranaut's past. Now this was a really interesting bit. I had thought Fabia was too young to be engaged! Anyway, no more spoilers..

BATTLE TACTIC #10: DEVESTATING COMBOS #1: HAOS - OCTOBER 2010

The Power of Combos

If you’re a veteran brawler you already know it, but if you’re new to Bakugan it’s critical to understand the power of combos in the arena.

This is the first in a series of six Battle Tactics about devastating combos that use the latest Gate cards, Action cards, and Bakugan from Gundalian Invaders!

Haos is a come-from-behind attribute. It helps you pull out a victory even when it looks like you’ll lose. It can help you punish your opponent for putting all of his eggs in one basket, like when he has the same attribute for all of the Bakugan in his force. Best of all, Haos Ability cards and Bakugan work great with cards and Bakugan from other attributes, so it’s a good choice if you don’t have very many Bakugan yet.

A killer strategy with Haos is to use low to moderate G-Power Bakugan only. Why? Because Haos cards have lots of special abilities that let you win anyway!

Fire Dodge is an excellent Copper Gate for Haos. It has a small Haos bonus compared to the bonuses for other attributes, but you love that, because its ability says that the Bakugan with the lowest G-Power wins the battle! There are lots of other Copper gate cards that allow the lowest G-Power to win as well, just be sure to pick one that has a low Haos Bonus.

If you’re rolling low-G Bakugan, also consider Detect Shrimp, a red Ability card that gives a bonus to the lowest G-Power Bakugan (which is probably you!), and gives an even bigger bonus if you are rolling a Haos Bakugan (which you probably are!).

But what about Gear?

Why not combine a Gate cards with Battle Gear that will not only give you a nice G-Power bonus, but will give an extra G-Power bonus if you happen to have the lowest printed G-Power! It’s combos like this that can take your mid-level G-Power Bakugan and turn them into G-Power monsters!

Often when you play Haos, particularly when you are battling on an enemy Gate card, you will not only be behind in G-Power, but you will be WAY behind in G-Power. That’s when you can whip out the Hacket Gear card which (on a good coin flip) literally can turn the loser into the winner!

And if you have either of those two Gear in its Copper form, why not include Attract Copper, a Green Ability card that ensures that those Gear will be available whether they are in your unused or used pile!

Lastly, you might just want to look at Barias Gear, nothing like getting a Gate card without even having a battle...

Find Your Own Combos!

These are just a few examples of devastating Haos combos. Spread your cards, Bakugan and Gear out and see what other great combos you can put together!

Then, just start playing! You can switch things up between brawls to make your force better and better the more you play!

New Bakugan Episode – Gundalian Invaders Episode 25: Dragonoid Colossus

And it's official: Ren has finally chosen the Brawlers over the merciless Gundalians. It's taken so long but then turning your back on your own race is really hard, and there's no reason to think why it would be otherwise for Ren. Not to mention he was also being lied to by Barodius.

Well, this week's episode highlights Ren's comeback to the Brawlers side. This episode also shows us Linehalt's forbidden power, and the almighty Dragonoid Colossus! We also get to see Ren's human form again, which I really prefer over his Gundalian form.

Dragonoid Colossus’ Design-A-Battle-Gear Contest Announcement

Dragonoid Colossus has stormed the battlefield with one thing in mind… ultimate victory! Helping Dan Kuso and the Neathians, Dragonoid Colossus has dealt the evil Gundalian forces a fatal blow. However, the battle to bring peace to the universe is far from over. As a Bakugan Battle Gear Designer, we want to see what kind of Battle Gear you would design to give Dragonoid Colossus an extra edge in battle!

For the month of October, draw, name and describe your own Bakugan Battle Gear creation that would assist Dragonoid Colossus in the battle against the Gundalians. Then, enter your design by posting it to the official forum contest thread, emailing it to us, faxing it, or sending it through the US Mail for your chance to win a Dragonoid Colossus.

The top three designs at the end of the month, October 31st, will be awarded the biggest, most ferocious Bakugan ever… a Dragonoid Colossus! Additionally, we will select a design at random from all those who enter to win one as well, which means all entries have a chance to win.

Dragonoid Colossus’ Design-A-Battle-Gear Contest Requirements:

* To participate:

o Draw it. Draw your custom Bakugan Battle Gear using one of the following methods
+ Digital illustration
+ Paper and pencils, crayons, pen, marker, etc.
o Name it. Give your Bakugan Battle Gear a name.
+ Describe it. Tell us what makes your Bakugan Battle Gear unique and how it helps Dragonoid Colossus in battle

* Submit your entry:

o Forums – Post your entry directly to the official forum thread here!
o Email – Email your entry to events@bakugan.com. Provide your My.Bakugan.com username and registered email address.
o Fax – Fax your entry to 1-310-826-0689 with a cover letter stating ‘Dragonoid Colossus’ Design-A-Battle-Gear Contest Entry Submission, Attn: Lord Darkus’ Provide your My.Bakugan.com username and registered email address.
o Mail – Mail your entry to ‘Dragonoid Colossus’ Design-A-Battle-Gear Contest – Contest Entry’ c/o Spinmaster 5890 W. Jefferson Blvd. Ste M, Los Angeles, CA 90016’ Provide your My.Bakugan.com username and registered email address.

* Judging:

o Each entry will be judged for:
+ Creativity – How unique is the entry?
+ Quality – Using your materials and the skills you have, is the entry of appropriate quality? In other words, did you put effort into it?
+ Composition – Is your Bakugan too small to see? Does your Battle Gear make sense from a functional perspective?

* Only one entry per user.
