Yea, 2 BB'ers won bakucon, DB, were gonna have to do major pwning in New York!
So true NP, can't wait. Unless the "battle masters" screw me up again....
Specify what they did?
lol, the two Torres' at it.
HEY!!! Well, it is true.
It's on the battle vid what they did today, it should show up soon. I really don't wanna type it all out unless I have to lol. Yesterday they decided to let Frankie play Relish Victory and count it as a used card before it's effect took place so he'd get the boost. They screwed someone else I talked to over when he played Variety's Curse and they claimed that "type" didn't refer to attribute OR style, causing him to lose his match against Frankie.
Lemme check those...Actually, those rulings are correct."Relish Victory" Is played in the middle of battle. Its effect is tossed into the air and the card is moved to the used pile and only the effect doesn't happen until the end of the battle. Compare it to "Final Countdown" of Yugioh fame; It's no longer on the field, but its effect takes place a lot later. While it is in the used pile and before the end of battle, you can counter its effects by playing some ability cards, youself, which also move to the used pile before the end of battle, as the effect "Floats" until that time. If "At the end of the battle" wasn't in the text, then its effects would happen while the card was still on the field, and not generate a "floating" effect."Variety's Curse" uses the word "Type". In the FAQ, "Type" is species of Bakugan, wheras "Attribute" or "Color" refers to their attribute. I think people get confused because of Pokemon "Type"s. Did Frankie use all Dragonoids, or something?
February 1, 2010 at 12:20 am #365991DOOD!! This is TEH AWSUMNESS!!-I guess if Dekas go more this direction, they'll be more interesting.
February 1, 2010 at 12:12 am #365989Say, do you think you could flip the cards upright and make them larger so I can read them more easily?
January 31, 2010 at 11:55 pm #365983I guess I'll just clear it up and scan all the cards I have.
January 31, 2010 at 10:23 am #365804Let me ***yze your strategy.
January 31, 2010 at 10:19 am #365803How much are these tins again? I want to get that Pyrus one of the Rock Hammer.
$25, because of TRU's usual markups.I'd hurry if I was you!
January 31, 2010 at 8:34 am #365786Hm. This seems a bit easy to fix.Make your strategy resist card floating, post images of the cards from Bakugan.com if they misquote the text, add an "Untimed, No Ties, No Quitting" clause to your first post. That clause alone should help keep the nubs away.Above all, don't lose your temper.Good cards to make your deck resist card floating: Lync's Deadly Volan #6, High Voltage, Darkness to Victory.EDIT: @Sensei: Yeah, by posting the image I forced him to correct himself.
January 31, 2010 at 7:59 am #365784yes lets see what develops
Ha! He just tried to claim that "Darkness to Victory" means I can't play any more ability cards for the rest of the game!I'm gonna teach this punk a lesson. I just posted Bakugan.com's Darkness to Victory to correct him!.
January 31, 2010 at 7:44 am #365782Right now I'm brawling someone who claimed they put a 750g Darkus bakugan on an Overhang card. Probably because I used Mirror Play+ 250g Haos Griffon. We'll see what he does next.
January 31, 2010 at 7:19 am #365780I guess you need to be careful with your sunblock choices, too!Like I said, Walgreens brand SPF 30 worked fine on my U. Dragonoid.
January 31, 2010 at 6:34 am #365777
If you don't mind my asking, where are you located? Might save me a trip to Toys r' Us if it's probably not out on the East Coast where I'm at.EDIT: The thing on the back looks like it could be Strike Flier. Also, were there any Subterra or Pyrus tins?
Kohdoks somewhere in texas, And bakugansensei and I are in california, and there was a pyrus, aquos and ventus tin.
...With Pyrus, Aquos, and DARKUS bakugan respectively. Not a speck of Haos to be found, however...
Fixed*
Fixed back*Ventus got a speck: The tin was Ventus based. It didn't contain a Ventus bakugan, but it counts as a speck. Haos didn't get even that kind of speck.
January 31, 2010 at 6:30 am #365776We get to put in multiple entries, right?
Just one, please.Geez, so many things I didn't clarify...
January 31, 2010 at 12:32 am #365673You found one too? Sweet! It looks like GI is becoming widespread, against SM's statements that GIs will be unveiled and released at Baku-Con NY. But when did they ever have proper distribution lol?
I think this is supposed to be a preview, as it is FAR to early to be anything as simple as a distribution mistake. Think about it: a bunch of new stuff and no rule book to be found? It's to get people more curious! That, and probably to test how quick a response something sudden and quiet like this would get.BTW, way to go DB!!
January 30, 2010 at 11:00 pm #365625Could I enter the Gate cards from that set I made awhile back?
Sure. Just make it look nice (Your final entry, that is).
