Retard.... the prizes for these puzzles have ALWAYS been the exclusive BakuCon cards.
Then why'd I get a maxus drago pin?You get the cards for entering the regional...
Lol... I was wondering when Swave was gonna jump in and do something, but...Anyway, yeah, I'm gonna be filming a documentary, so if there's a chance I could interview any of you guys (And maybe your parent(s))after the Saturday tournament is over...

if SM wants bakugan to become big, lets adults in.
Maybe they're worried that many of the fans end up being kids and only a few people in the 16+show up. Causing them to lose money?
at least have an "open to all" tourney
That's one thing that should be obvious. If there was an adult, they would be playing against a little kid. Who wins, the adult, in most cases.

I really wish I could talk with them, as you do, Kohdok. I see they're trying to adjust the gameplay and it seems like they're really working hard on it. Having played as many games I have, I really see where things need to be fixed.
I think Kohdok meant he was talking to Miles Parents/Family.

Nope
Actually, I meant other people who went to BakuCon and brawled, or saw, kids (or adults in side-tourneys) with stupid, or non-existent, strats.
I do recall saying in another post that because there were so many amateurs, expert brawlers like our fellow BBers and others like The Community's Dragongirl9888 would just cut swathes through them. I managed to take some kid's mishmash of Bakugan and Cards, made as good a strategy as I could with them (Which was still pretty mediocre, he barely knew how to play) and he went on to win most of his matches (3rd in his flight, I believe). That just goes to show that someone with even mere wisps of a strategy was more than a match for most of the brawlers there. The only match in the side tourney that got a lot of attention was the one between me and Dragongirl9888 (Which was only the semi-finals! My final opponent was no comparison.).I'd set the tiers here:7-13, and 14+. Once the series stabilizes its fanbase, then these two tiers would be about equal, I think.Even if they didn't do sanctioned play, just a small subsidizing of organized play (Of which there have been rumors) would generate more competent brawlers and "Bakucon II" would be much more epic.
February 2, 2010 at 7:38 pm #366323so you DID work on D&D wow your more professional than i thought
Ah, you misunderstood. I did NOT work with WOTC to make that character, I just made it as a character for a D&D playing group I was in.

Seems like Math is an integral part to winning. Like when DB's opponent played those AC's and still came up 10G's short.
I really felt bad at that point lol, that was just sad. I was pretty surprised that he was the best of the day lol...
Ya, the kid I beat was only best cause of his massive fake g's, other than that, he couldn't land or didnt have a basic strategy.
LOL.. Yeah those g's were MASSIVE. Seriously, I think about all the little kids who collect Bakugan and parents that buy them for their kids and don't HAVE ANY CLUE at all about the highest g or best Bakugan. AND with the whole random g-power thing, some nice little bakugan loving kid would've got DESTROYED by those Darkus Bakugan. When I first saw it, I was like WHAT THE !?!? That cannot be allowed ! -Again, how many kids lost to that guy who might otherwise be advancing ? Oh well. It's done and over I suppose and at least alot of good came out of the whole Bakugan Fiasco, eh ?
I've been talking with them in private, actually, and they're checking with me to make sure the bakugan they plan on using in the finals are all real and legal. So far, so good.

I once made a D&D character for Rhett Butler ("Hercules" in English), the cat from the first series. I mean, for the target audience, Rhett Butler is made of so much win that if they made him do anything but stand there, then the heads of many little girls would have asploded from the sheer awesomeness and anime had enough problems with Pokemon as it was...*Picture*As for the D&DDM: You're walking and you see...a BEAR IN THE WOODS!!*Rhett Butler Attacks! I roll damage...*DM: Yeah, that bear's pretty much chowder...
YOU WORKED WITH D&D AND CREATED THAT THING!?!?!
The Feral template is your friend. :3And the 7d6+2d10+16 with natural weapons (Every hit, two weapon fighting for six attacks a round @ level 20) made me pretty much Monk-proof....I need to find his old character sheet, I think it was more than that...

February 1, 2010 at 8:54 pm #366170Really? They have to last at least six turns. I'd imagine it's between turns that the power level goes up.Player 1 has 0 power level first turnPlayer 2 has 1 power level first turnPlayer 2 has 2 power second turn. This way, Player 2 would always be a point higher on their turn.
February 1, 2010 at 8:25 pm #239997Well, that +200 has a power level on it, remember, and that affects how you can play it. Also, I don't like that the card title and G-power bonuses aren't nice, huge, and clear like the older cards.I compare Weak Wind's bonuses to High Voltage, though the bonuses are more extreme. So far, the only cards that are looking obsolete are the ones like "G-Power Bump" that nobody really uses anyway. I mean, the blue cards now have to compete with the Battlegear for functionality. Lumagrowl's card is a translucent special treatment with a possible +50 bonus, and Coredom's card appears to be a Great Mountain Breaker than can only be played at turn 4 or later (Assuming we understand Power Levels right). The new set will emphasize the newest rules, naturally, but since the card backs are the same and the core rules appear to be the same, seeing as not ALL of the new cards have a power level, then I assume the older cards will be allowed unless some kind of uber-cheap, better than Haos2/Tricky Gate or High Voltage/Clean House/Darkness to Victory comes along that mixes them up.

Bakufrost, Bakusolar, Bakusteel, etc. are all considered Special Treatments(as in refereing to a paint treatment.) All Special Attacks are treatments. I'm wondering if Gundalian bakugan with the pegs for Weapons are considered treatments.I'm seriouslly jealous of you guys. I was hoping that if there was to be organized play, there'd be an Adult age group and a lower age group for some of the younger kids(though that might be a hassle, lol, and it seems things are still to shakey for dealing with younger players.) I would be up in New York in a heart beat if I were allowed to play in a tourny, even if it were just a side tourny.
SM right now does not care for olders players. Our knowledge and understanding of the game to them right now has no value or is not worth to spend some $$ or effort. This is where they are wrong. Some of the most popular collectible games are being kept popular, alive and profitable by adults and older kids. Younger kids have little loyalty but older players are more sincere to their hobbies. Once the fad and hype is gone who do you think will still be buying Bakugan?
ur answer: Me(16), BC(Mid-twenties?), Ernie(older than BC), HM(....adult), etc.
ME (College age) etc.
February 1, 2010 at 12:38 am #365997On the green Battlegear, They have bronze paint, so I think they're bronze. Also, oxidized bronze is…well…green.
