I try to avoid getting involved in argumentative topics, but would like to present two thoughts here:1. It's not all about g-power. For those who claim having high g-power bakugan is unfair need to consider altering their strategy. My hubby plays with an 800g Alpha Percival, as well as a few 700+g darkus ones I can't recall off the top of my head, and despite having 'high g-power' bakus, he'll never admit it, but he has lost on a few occasions playing against one of our friends whose highest baku is 600 something. Using cards that benefit a lower g-power baku, as well as playing his Lars Lion card which drives him nuts, having higher g-power bakus hasn't necessarily given him any real unfair advantage, if anything, it makes cards that benefit lower bakus like low bridge, etc, wonderful.2. Certain Bakus may not be available in NA, but just as we are obtaining non-NA releases for our collections, its never stopped anyone else from getting them. They may be more expensive, but they are still available to access via ebay or other sources for 'you' as much as they are available for 'me'. Just because someone plays with one, I've never seen it as unfair, but rather, as a challenge on how to alter my strategy and topple 'Goliath' as 'Peter' if that makes sense. If official rules end up specifying that all bakus in tournament play must be NA release only, then no biggie, but try to change how you guys look at the non-NA releases - if you see someone playing with them, no biggie - change your strategy and you'll be able to topple them. It's not how big the g-power is, it's how you use those bakus, heh. Just my two cents and nothing more.
July 19, 2009 at 6:24 pm #258493Thanks so much for the clarificaitions so far – I really appreciate it! One other clarification I forgot to ask about:Blue-Green Combine - The wording states "Play after you play a blue ability card." Based on the turn-based play, how would you play this card? Do you play this combo'd with a blue card, or play your blue card, let your opponent play an ability card, then play this card? Thanks again!

We weren't quite sure how to treat that situation, heh.As for the bronze guys, I guess at this point, there is no word as to whether they have anything else special about them (i.e. clears become opponent, pearls can take highlighted or their respective attribute bonus, etc)? Ah well. For now, special treatment it is. I love my Special Crush card.
April 23, 2009 at 3:02 pm #231709See, I have to keep his ego going, so I can't possibly win everytime, otherwise, his ego will be destroyed and he'll never want to play with me again! LOL That, and half the time, I end up giving him some of my better 'bakufinds' (good boosters, cards, etc) since he will sit there and fuss until I do, ha. I did manage to bite the bullet and get a green pythantus off of ebay, since I play alot of ventus and pyrus, so maybe I'm going to have to stop being the nice wife and start schooling him with my new toy once it arrives. :pYay Ventus and Pyrus. :p
April 22, 2009 at 3:56 pm #231662That's exactly what he meant… methinks that the adrenaline was still in effect when he wrote that, heh. All we ever see here when we are lucky is fifty thousand spin ravenoids… bah. They aren't that thrilling to me, personally. I can see it now with our kids years from now... "No, honey, that's mommy's dragonoid. You'll need to save up your allowance and get your own if you want to beat daddy."
