BAKUGAN BUZZ

The fourth season, Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge, has just officially started on February 2011. This means a new look, new Bakugan, new names, new beings called the Mechtogan, and, in this case, new packs.

Mechtanium Surge Starter Pack: BakuTrinity
The starter pack of Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge is called the BakuTrinity. It still has the same three Bakugan as do all starter packs, with one closed and a mystery while the other two are opened. The pack is shaped differently. Gundalian Invaders packs are usually rectangular, but the BakuTrinity is shaped like a bowling pin. The BakuTirnity contains the usual 3 Bakugan, 3 Ability Cards, and 3 Metal Gate Cards that starter packs have.

Mechtanium Surge Booster Pack: BakuSolo
The BakuSolo are this season's Booster packs. Like the past seasons, the BakuSolo also has a series of its own describing the kind of Bakugan it holds (e.g. BakuTaxtix, BakuMutant, etc). The BakuSolo contains 1 Bakugan, 1 Ability Card, and 1 Metal Gate Card.

Mechtanium Surge Bakunano Packs
The Bakunano is a new addition to Bakugan, but it is actually a new version of the past season's Bakugan Battle Gear. It is a kind of weaponry that can be attached to the Bakugan or Mechtogan. It is much smaller in size compared to the battle gear. The Bakunano pack contains 2 Bakunano.

Mechtanium Surge Mobile Assault Packs
Bakugan Mobile Assaults are still a part of the Mechtanium Surge line. Here's the new look of the packaging, and in diecast metal, too!

Mechtanium Surge Mechtogan Packs
Yes, the Mechtogan get to have their own solo pack, with their Activator card, of course. The pack includes 1 Mechtogan, 1 Ability Card, and 1 Mechtogan Activator which we use to swipe at the Mechtogan for them to transform.

Mechtanium Surge Mechtogan Extension Packs
The Mechtogan Extension Pack is the equivalent of the Brawlers Game Pack of the previous seasons. It is composed of 1 Mechtogan, 1 Bakugan, 2 BakuNano, 2 Ability Cards, 1 Metal Gate Card, and 1 Mechtogan Activator.

Mechtanium Surge Mechtogan Titan Pack
Mechtogan Titans are large versions of the Mechtogan, much like the Deka Bakugan and the BakuMorphs are to the Bakugan of the previous seasons. The Mechtogan Titan pack includes 1 Mechtogan Titan, 1 Ability Card, and 1 Mechtogan Activator.

Mechtanium Surge Bakutin
The Mechtanium Surge Bakutin comes in a new shape. It is now square-like with a see-through circle on its cover to see what's inside. The BakuTin includes 1 Bakugan, 1 BakuNano, 1 Ability Card, and 1 Metal Gate Card.
