While you're correct on both accounts, remember the power level is for all gates in the game, I'm sure they'd make Ventus at least power level 3 (even though it could be used as early as 1) When you say continue is it actual GI or is it this mixed thingy?

Ventus would NEVER be used if it had a power level of 3, but nonetheless, this is a GI brawl, it uses GI rules, NO WHERE in the rules does it say we are just limited to GI bakugan and cards, so instead of being upset that I dont want to be limited with just ONE set of new bakugan and rules, how about you adapt and coerce all bakugan products.NOW, shall we continue.

I actually am adapting, coercing my old cards with new ones, and adding the element of gears. I am not gonna force a strategy upon myself with just one new set of bakugan and cards. I am using only one GI bakugan now, because I havent obtained my other one for my team, and I am using 2 new GI gates, and no new GI abilites, since most suck so far. So can we just continue, This isnt a topic for contemplating rules DX

But here's the thing, the cards really weren't meant to act that way... Don't you see how the crappy G-Power (Up) cards have a power level of 1? And yet non GI has cards that give up to 140 on any card without G restrictions on your first turn. You don't find that cheap at all? Also I'd rather not go check the FAQ but I'm almost positive its in there.

Its not, so instead of being lazy and assuming it IS in their, which it is not, can we continue. They added power level for mainly blue cards, and occasionally some red and greens, but numerous cards like Late Storm, Sunrise etc. have a power level of 2 and give 200, so the power level is playing its part where needed. May I say we have only seen ONE set of GI bakugan and cards, so we are still limited on our overall mindset of the new gameplay, but once again, lets just frickin brawl, this is ridculous now!

I found what I was looking at beforeSure. As long as you and your opponent both agree, feel free to use a mix of all the cards. A few of the Series 1 Gate cards will be over-powered if you play this way, but they will still work. If you decide to go this route, try to ignore HSP and stick with the Series 2 and Series 3 victory condition of winning three Gate cards. Over time, you'll likely stop using Series 1 and 2 cards as the game moves forward and more brawlers play with Series 3 rules. Series 1 and Series 2 Bakugan will work well in either set of rules.Bolded statement implies that the ACTUAL rules will be GI only. I mean people don't seem to get that this rule exsisted last series too, but we all chose not to use HSPs and such. Plus it says both players agree and I kinda wanted to play GI only, no point in testing a crappy team against a well made one and I'm steering away from Series 1 and 2 as its now time for series 3!
