This is for a battle where you only set gates when there are none on the field and after the first 2 gates set they only get set 1 at a time:Bakugan:3 Darkus 600g+Darkus Pythantus TrapAbilitys:Magnetic ActionAny green abilityVentusGates:Dark TunnelAny silver GateCharacter card to match one of your Bakugan (preferably hsp)This must be executed perfectly. One mistake and it's all over. Now what you do is let your opponent go first, if he lands on your card (which needs to be Dark Tunnel) engage him on the card, you will win and get the first gc, or use Magnetic Action to move him there. Now it's your turn, so roll on his card. He'll have to engage you on it, so use your trap and play ventus and swap the card with Dark Tunnel. You will win this battle as well, bringing you to 2 gc. Now it will be your turn, and you will set your character gate. Your opponent will have to land on it, if it's an hsp there's no chance he'll counter,if it isn't an hsp rely on your green card to pull out the win. And that's it! You win.

that is a good strategy but, in your strategy your opponet could play call of the defenders, and you would have 1 abilty card while he has 2 which can be a big deal in some cases

      #237596

Yes but if you play first to win 3 gc call of the defenders wouldn't really matter. And if it's an hsp character it doesn't matter how many abilities your opponent has.

true, so i guess it comes down on how you play the brawl

      #237601

Exactly. I did it to a friend 3 times in a row, even after 3 times he couldn't figure a way to avoid it.

To save yourself a red card you may want to use attractor instead of Manetic Action but if you don't have Attractor Magnetic Action works well to.

1., Sadly, I don't have Attractor. Want it bad, but don't have it. :'(2., Using Magnetic Action is actually better in this case because red abilitys don't boost g, green do.

Sadly, I don't have Attractor or Magnetic action. But the person I play with the most does, so if he uses it, I can use Stealin' and get it after he uses it, and get back one of my Bakugan.

well red ability cards can save you from a brawl like mine field

      #237910

Yeah that's true too. But this way it applies to almost any rule set, 3gc, 3bakugan, etc.

Certain red cards can give you a g-power boost like Circle of Fire (series one edition) and Crush Under Foot.

So does Death From above, but only if you have a Boost Ingram, which is not available in Darkus, sadly.
