there is MUCH too many bots around BB. this is another problem that is deteriating. i've reported SEVERAL bot users and it's ALL in the same section oddly enough.

Yes! We should up the number of Mods and try to catch the bots as they appear!

yeah. strangely enough the section "general bakugan merchandise" is the most targeted for these bots. wonder y.

Now I haven't signed up in the last week or anything but I'm pretty sure Ernie said that you require the input of a code in order to complete the registration process. What does that mean exactly? That means they aren't bots (though we can call them that if we wanna :)) But rather actual people making accounts and just posting their dumb ads. Either that or these are some freakin good bots, I've never seen any like this before TBH...

Its people not bots and all you need to do is hit the report post link and it sends an email to me. Usually by the time i get it a mod has already deleted the post. I think it might notify certain mods as well ( not to sure ). I go in and ban the emails/ips/etc. and also delete the accounts as well. I think we do a pretty good job of eliminating them once they pop up. You will never stop them just have to deal with them.

No offense, but you see a guy with an outrageous name, and see their post, a paragraph with 20 links in it... WALK AWAY! I dunno if you are clicking on these or something but you really shouldn't and its waaaay obvious that they are a bot (I'm going to use the term bot as its easy to use...)
