Guaranteed 700g Bakugan!
From the Quilt’s Temple, Team Dragaon is now back in Dojo to continue their ability test. The purpose is to prepare them for a next brawl against Shadow Sanjushi.
The ninth episode of BakuTech Manga series opens with Harubaru facing another challenge in Dojo’s poolside. Master Shimo, Raichi, and Tatsuma watch as Harubaru shoots Gren Dragaon (formerly Flare Dragaon). Due to the new “Double Ring” feature, Gren Dragaon inflicted Critical K.O on Zak Jaguard – standing on the far end of the pool.
On the next challenge, Raichi amazes everyone when he shoots Zero Munikis on the water instead of having to roll it. So, what made Zero Munikis float on the water? Thanks to its new feature “Storm Line” which it got after it evolved from Munikis Destroyer. This time, Raichi also inflicted Critical K.O on Gigan Taures. Job well done for both boys!
With this, Harubaru becomes excited and confident to win the next brawl against Shadow Sanjushi. He swear to get back the Dojo’s sign. However, Master Shimo isn’t too pleased with his proudness.
As the four of them were inside Dojo, Master Shimo told the story of Shadow Sanjushi’s origin while recalling his own younger time.
Master Shimo’s story:
Master Jyou made the Shadow Sanjushi and had his own brawlers to avenge his own fate. Master Shimo and Master Jyou were formerly students of Master Quilt, who was the former master of Bakugan Dojo. When he decided to retire, he held a competition between Shimo and Jyou to know who will inherit the Dojo. Jyou won the brawl fight as he is more competitive and aggressive. While Shimo, who could be as good as he, is calmer. At the end, Master Quilt gave the Bakugan Dojo to Shimo which angered Jyou. The latter vowed to avenge his defeat. Thus, Shadow Sanjushi was formed.
In the middle of this, Dojo’s bell suddenly fell. Master Shimo and his three students went outside to see what happened. To their surprise, there stood the Team Shadow Sanjushi – Karashina, Tohga, and Jinza. They brought the Dojo’s sign to face Team Dragaon on battle brawl.

We’ve seen in the previous episode the damages inflicted to Team Dragaon’s bakutechs namely: Flare Dragon, Munikis Destroyer, Van Falco, and Kilan Leoness. Tohga of Shadow Sanjushi used his Acro Gezard to win the brawl.
In this episode, let’s see what has become of our lead characters.
The scene opens with Team Dragaon together with Tatsuma entered an ancient temple – Quilt’s Temple. In here, they’ll be having tests to improve their brawling skills. This is to prepare as well for future brawl they may have against Shadow Sanjushi. A voice behind the temple walls gives them instructions. While Team Dragaon members stand waiting for the unknown, the temple floor under them opened. The incident happened so sudden that they were unprepared. Sho Grif is the first to fall followed by the others.
The temple floors lead to different rooms inside the temple where each Team Dragaon members will be put into test.
Harubaru is placed in a room with series of bakutechs placed in a V-formation Gate Cards. He should aim to inflict Critical K.O. on the first Gate Card Bakutech. If he does this, the rest of standing bakutechs (Blan Shoult) will fall down like domino effect.
For several tries, Harubaru fails. But upon remembering Tohga and his Acro Gezard, he is filled with great determination to succeed. On the next try, Harubaru’s Flare Dragaon inflicts Critical K.O on the first bakutech in line. Thus, making the rest of Blan Shoult behind it fall down. He is so happy about this. But, oops…not too fast. It isn’t considered a winning since his hands went beyond the line when he brawled his Flare Dragon. This made Harubaru crazy.
On the otherhand, Raichi is sent to a room with spiral table. At the center, a Gate Card is found. Raichi must be able to make Munikis Destroyer stand on it while taking the spiral path. This time, Munikis did it well.
Tatsuma is found in front of a huge temple door. He must brawl Gif Ginryu on the Gate Card in front of him. Quite very easy to do. But what he doesn’t expect is the huge stone comes rolling infront of the temple door after he brawls. Quite unexpected, so Tatsuma didn’t managed to run. Instead, he flies so high together with Gif Ginryu.
As for Sho and Koh, we’ll wait and see what hardships could they have run to. Will Harubaru master his shooting skills this time?
