“I thought the BakuNanos made the battles more intense, but the Mechtogans have really up the stakes!” Yeah Dylan is right in saying that. But I wonder how these Mechtogans just appear in the scene, and Sellon has a Mechtogan too named Braxion.

    Mechtogan used by Sellon, Braxion

Since Shun took the position of a leader of the Brawlers, he has been unstoppable and shows no sign of backing down in any battle. And like Dan and Drago were able to spawn a Mechtogan, Shun suddenly spawns a Mechtogan, Silent Strike at the time he joins a royale battle. He tried to defeat it as he doesn't know how to control his Mechtogan. Luckily, Paige and Rafe were there to rescue Taylean.

Interestingly enough, these two new characters, Paige and Rafe, knew more about the Mechtogans. They have learned that a Mechtogan is a physical manifestation of an ability created when a Bakugan and brawler fall out of sync or in another words born out of chaos. After the battle, they reveal to Shun and Marucho their true identities and their purpose, however Shun acting like Dan who refused any help from his friends, left and said they don't need baby sitters.

    Anubius and Darkus Iron Dragonoid

Dan can fly... at a great distance and at great heights. Seriously, it would've been a sentimental moment if they didn't exaggerate the flying thing too much. Anyways, there's more new stuff to see in this episode, namely Anubius in Gundalian form, Iron Dragonoid as another Chaos Bakugan, and Venexus as the second Mechtogan to make an appearance.

While Shun continues on the "tough love" treatment and brawling rampage and Marucho continues on with worrying, Dan and Drago continues on trying to control the new powers in New Vestroia. Mag Mel sends Anubius to New Vestroia with Iron Dragonoid and Venexus as a gift to battle Dan and Drago. Anubius travels to New Vestroia as a Gundalian and is met with Drago and Preyas, while Dan and Amazon are doing their best trying to reach their two friends on time!

    Iron Dragonoid and Venexus Mechtogan

What's interesting about this episode is that instead of the villains getting Drago to belt out more power for them to feed on, their plan actually worked in favor of Drago, especially when Anubius used Venexus. Drago learned that you could control the Mechtogan just as Anubius used Venexus. And so Anubius was overpowered instead and lost.

Next episode, it's Shun's turn to lose control.. with an upside because he gets his own Mechtogan! No idea yet on how this could happen as we still don't know what causes the Mechtogans to appear aside from Drago's new power. Plus, Paige and Rafe are finally arriving! And despite how may people think Paige looks like a boy, she doesn't look all that bad as a girl from the preview.

spectra Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge Welcome the Haos, Subterra, and Darkus Brawlers!

Yes yes yes! That is certainly the one and only Spectra! He's back, and in Darkus black! He looks awesome and I actually prefer him in Darkus colors. I think this is proof right here that Spectra is indeed coming back this season. There's still no clue as to how he comes in, but apparently he will step in to help Shun and Marucho while Dan is gone from Interspace. It will be great seeing Spectra and Infinity Helios in brawling action again!

We've also got new characters this season, and we've been waiting for these two to show themselves, too --- the Haos brawler and the Subterra brawler. Rafe will be battling with the Haos attribute, and his Guardian Bakugan is Wolfurio. He is Neathian, and a member of the Castle Knights. He is sent to Bakugan Interspace to train with the brawlers.

rafe Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge Welcome the Haos, Subterra, and Darkus Brawlers!

paige Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge Welcome the Haos, Subterra, and Darkus Brawlers!

Paige is also sent to Bakugan Interspace to train with the brawlers. She is from Gundalia. Her presence along with Rafe further implies strengthening relations between Neathia and Gundalia. I'm looking forward to some friendly bickering moments, however, much like how Taylean and Trister are with each other. It would be nice to see how the two brawlers will get along.

This season is seriously proving to be interesting. It's not just because of the new additions like the Mechtogan and the BakuNano. It's also because we get to see a diverse community in Bakugan Interspace --- Earthlings, Vestal, Gundalian, and Neathian unite! I can't wait to see them come together!

Sunday has gone again and another episode is out.. the long awaited return to New Vestroia! Only this is like the new New Vestroia, where Drago is considered as one of the old ones and the partnership with the human brawlers seem to be a thing of the past. Just how many years went by since season 2 anyway? It's only been, what, 4 or 5 years since the New Vestroia series, and Drago is already considered.. not young.

Anyway, going back to Dan and Drago's journey back to New Vestroia, I'm sure everyone saw just how similar the planet is to the prehistoric era when there were only dinosaurs living on earth. Almost every Bakugan there was inspired by dinosaurs that Preyas and Amazon really stood out. Correction.. A-MAH-ZOOOOON! Preyas sure picked a student that not only fights like him but also talks like him. For those who missed Preyas, you get a doze of him plus a bonus with Amazon!

Watch how things go in New Vestroia here:

Meanwhile, Dan and Drago are still plagued by Mag Mel and Razenoid with his funny evil voice. Shun is also still battling and rising to the top, although at a hardened and no-mercy rate which starts to worry Marucho but pleases the manipulative Sellon. No screen time for Anubias but is that him on the preview of the next episode ( Bakugan Mechtanium Surge Episode 9: Chaos Control ), with the Gundalian-like getup?

    Aquos Phosphos Bakugan
    Copper Twin Destructor Battle Gear

    Fully Prepared Ability Card

Here is how this tactic will devastate your opponent:

First set your PHOSPHOS ARMORY Gate Card onto the field, then roll your Aquos PHOSPHOS Bakugan onto your Gate Card. PHOSPHOS ARMORY allows you to gain an additional 100 G-Power for each Battle Gear played whether it's yours or your opponents.

Add your Copper Twin Destructors to the battle and then play your FULLY PREPARED Ability Card which gives you an additional 100 G-Power if you are playing with a Copper Battle Gear.
