Guaranteed 700g Bakugan!
Before the month of September ends, we've got another Battle Tactics session with Guest Brawler Aquamentus. This time, we have a battle strategy for Aquos brawlers, a strategy that is called the Aquos "Full Silver Salvo" Strategy:
Here's how the strategy works:
- Silver Nugget (Gate card)
- Quick Jump (Ability card, though any Blue Ability will work)
- Any two Silver Bakunano (For this example, we'll use a Silver Bombaplode at 80G, and a Silver Hyper Pulsor at 70G)
- Aquos Infinity Helios (700/800/850/1000/1050/1200G, set to 1200G)
- Any Aquos Mechtogan (For this example, we'll use an Aquos Venexus Titan at 230G)While a fairly simplistic strategy, this is one of Aquos's lastest and most ruthless tactics that come in the first wave of Mechtanium Surge. Silver Nugget is a Silver Gate card that not only offers a 130 bonus to Aquos, but allows players with Aquos or Subterra Bakugan in battle to get a +100G bonus to each of their Bakunano. Now normally you should be careful with cards like this as your opponent could use its power against you, but on average, Aquos and Subterra are the least common attributes you will experience in the game, so you should be pretty safe from this strategy backfiring.
Now the rest is simple. Load up your Mechtogan with Silver Bakunano, play your ability, and get a massive bonus. This strategy is amazing because one, it only requires two Bakunano, an Ability, and one support piece AND you get to reuse your Bakunano after the battle, and two, because this doesn't just give a big bonus. It will give you one of the biggest bonuses this game has ever seen:
1200+130+230+80+100+70+100+90=2000G
So even if you don't win the battle, your opponent will practically empty out their unused pile catching up with you, leaving the rest of the game for you to hit them while they're left with nothing to fight back. And all you did was play a support piece, one Ability, and some Nano. Simple, effective, conservative, and devastating. Everything a good Aquos brawler needs to win.
Bakugan Unite!
After the Mechtavius Destroyer and the Dragonoid Destroyer took most of the attention in the previous two episodes, it's finally time we get a closer look at the fusions and unification of the Bakugan. We have two in this episode: the united combination of Fusion Dragonoid and Reptak, and the combined power of three of Betadron, Mutabrid, and Kodokor.
The episode begins with the brawlers worried and looking for Gunz. Reptak was offered a place in the team by becoming one of Dan's Bakugan until Gunz came back. However, Reptak is still fiercely loyal to Gunz and is hesitant to accept the brawlers' offer.
In looking for Gunz, Dan and Drago and Reptak came across Wiseman, who had set up a trap to battle Dan alone. Gunz had his three Darkus Nonet Bakugan battle Drago first, and Drago was soon having a hard time beating all three of them. Reptak still had a nagging suspicion that Wiseman was Gunz due to their similar style in throwing the ball into battle. And so he asked Dan to join the battle, too, in an effort to find out if it was Gunz behind the mask of Wiseman or not.
Reptak was doing well, but fighting against the three Nonet Bakugan still proved to be difficult. Luckily, Mira was able to transport battle suits to both Reptak and Drago for more power boosts!
The Doomtronic Battle Suit
Wiseman then pulled out his wild card or the day's battle: uniting Betadron, Kodokor, and Mutabrid to form Gliderak. Reptak's and Drago's battle suits were no longer a match against Gliderak, and they needed a new source of power boost in order to defeat Wiseman. Their solution was to unite themselves, and Fusion Dragonoid and Reptak combined to form what looks like a white armored version of Dragonoid called Aeroblitz.
Betadron + Kodokor + Mutabrid = Gliderak
Fusion Dragonoid + Reptak = Aeroblitz

On the next episode, the spotlight will be on Shun and Jaakor. Maybe we'll get to learn where Taylean went and how Jaakor came to be Shun's Bakugan. We certainly need to know what happened with Taylean and Trister. Watch out for the next episodes, or watch the previous ones, on Bakugan Tv Show.

You can call me.. Wiseman.
We had some down time yesterday so we weren't able to put this up. I also wasn't exactly thrilled with the new villain's name enough to make me speed up with this post. I mean, Wiseman? Seriously?
Well, anyway, did I mention in my post last week that this second part of the fourth season feels like a separate new season entirely? We now have a brand new foe in the name of, well, Wiseman. He may or may not be the missing Gunz, who may or may not have been struck with some evil entity like Alice was back in season 1 to become Masquerade. Basically, we have another villain who is hiding behind a mask (just what is it with villains and masks, anyway?).
After the defeat of Mechtogans Coredegon, Slycerak, Mandibor, and Exostriker, Wiseman recruited the Bakugan he released from the Doom Dimension to wreak havoc on Earth and challenge the Battle Brawlers. These Bakugan are known as the Nonet Bakugan, who were banished to suffer in the Doom Dimension by Drago's ancestor.
The Nonet Bakugan
The Battle Brawlers rose up to the challenge, of course, with Julie reporting from the sidelines and Mira providing support from their HQ. Reptak also helped, and Dan accepted his help when they used the Dragonoid Destroyer again. Wiseman had called upon the four Mechtogan from last time to battle the brawlers again. It was like a repeat of Mechtavius Destroyer versus Dragonoid Destroyer (with Reptak and Jaakor adding some power). Marucho and Radizen also had Blasterate as a Battle Suit to assist in the battle.

Radizen with Battle Suit Blasterate
The battle ended with the Brawlers winning, and Wiseman completely depleted of energy. He vanished before Dan could get to him , and we are left with the thought that Wiseman could really be Gunz.

Behind Blue.. uhm, Shades
With the end of Bakugan Dimensions last week, we're hoping that this episode lifted some of the downed spirits of Bakugan fans. It certainly gave answers to the questions we've asked before about the fourth season, questions like "Who is this Dylan guy?" and "When will the others find out about Sellon's and Anubias' real personalities?" Well, as is implied by the title of this episode, everyone is showing their true colors at last!
The war in Gundalia ends as Mag Mel backs off after his defeat to the brawlers. The victory party was cut short, however, because there came another distress signal, this time coming from the Bakugan Interspace! The five brawlers make their way to Interspace (Spectra's gone again), and find it in ruins, with the Chaos Bakugan on a destructive spree. Teams Anubias and Sellon (without the leaders, of course) are still running around seeking sanctuary with other brawlers. The brawlers arrive just in time to save Team Anubias from a Chaos Bakugan.
The first "true colors" we get to see in the episode is Dylan, who turns out to be the computerized manifestation of Bakugan Interspace! It's like I, Robot and Eagle's Eye where the computer becomes as intelligent as man, with horrifying results. Bakugan Interspace apparently had a program to keep the brawlers challenged in their battles, and Dylan did just that with the BakuNano and other upgrades. Seriously, couldn't they have made Dylan a little less creepy? He represents the system of Bakugan Interspace, after all.
Matrix in my eyes...
The brawlers are trapped in Interspace, and with the help of ever loyal Kato they find one access point where they can get out of the system. En route to the access point, however, Anubias and Sellon appear and finally show their true colors --- evil Gundalian and Neathian servants of Mag Mel --- much to the shock of their fanatical members. Chris and Soon are in denial. But Team Anubias seem to be taking it well enough, with the exception of Noah who was disappointed yet again in his choice for an idol.
And hell hath known no fury like the fury of Shun scorned! Once it was clear that Sellon was just using the brawlers, Shun in particular, for their evil deeds, Shun was bent on battling her with all he's got. So we've got Anubias obsessed with defeating Dan, and Shun intent on defeating Sellon. How awesome is that!
