Give your kids Bakugan and watch the celebration begin. Based on the popular Japanese Anime series of the same name, Bakugan Battle Brawlers has turned into a national craze. But how do you start and what should you buy to get started?

A great way to begin is with the Bakugan starter pack. These packs come with 6 Bakugan, 8 magnetic Gate cards and instructions for the novice player. Plus when you go with the starter pack, you get enough Bakugan to play in a game (3 or more are needed) and it is cheaper than purchasing them individually.

Play begins by rolling the Bakugan onto a gate card. When they land on one of these magnetic cards, the Bakugan open into Battle Mode and are ready for battle. Winners are decided based on the amount of points they accumulate through the game.

You will find that with the starter pack it comes with a variety of Bakugan. Bakugan come in different colors which represents their attributes. Sub-Terra represents earth and is brown, Pyrus (Red) represents fire, Ventus (green) which represents air, Aquos which is blue represents water, Haos (white) is light and Darkus (Black).

If you don't know whether your child will like Harpus, Fortress, Warius or Gorem more, don't worry. By choosing the starter pack you will get a variety of colors or another great way to go is just buy their favorite color. When it comes to Bakugan, kids enjoy them all so you can't go wrong.

Here's the bottom line, if you're looking to keep your child entertained for hours with a game that requires your child to learn how to strategize and use math while playing, Bakugan is the way to go.
