She's a tomboy through and through. She loves playing Bakugan with the boys! Runo can be a sore loser and her battling can be inconsistent. She sometimes gets in the way of her team members. She has a crush on Dan (although she wouldn't admit it) and is jealous of Julie.

Season 1
- Runo and Dan only finds out that they live nearby each other in this season, even though they have been communicating through the Internet for a while already.
- Runo is the first among the six brawlers that brawled against Masquerade.
- She is closest to Alice, and worried about her whenever she disappeared.
- Her weakness in battle is that she can be stubborn and will not listen to her comrades and Tigrerra. She overcame this weakness in her battle with the legendary Haos Lars Lion.
- She came close to giving up brawling when many of her Bakugan were sent to the Doom Dimension.
- She and Dan go on a date at the end of the season.

Season 2 - New Vestroia
- Runo and Dan were on a date when Drago came and whisked Dan and Marucho to New Vestroia.
- She was furious at being left behind and she and Julie went to Alice's to get transported to New Vestroia. This led to a disastrous turn; she was only partially transported, with her physical body left behind. When she was able to get back to Earth wholly, it was with Dan, Mira, Baron, and the Vexos.
- She wanted to prove she could win against the Vexos in a brawl, and so went to bait them. This proved a bad decision, as she lost even with Mira's help, and Mira lost the Subterra attribute.
- In the end, she and Julie stayed behind when the brawlers were off to battle Zenoheld. The reason was that Tigrerra and Gorem did not evolve into stronger Bakugan and are therefore no match for the battle. This would only harm Runo and Julie, and they have decided to brawl only when necessary.

- Runo is only mentioned in passing, and a picture of her with Dan and Julie is shown in an episode.
