I'm guessing Battle Gear is exclusive to the BakuTins. It comes with 2 reference cards (which are the blue, Battle Gear ability cards), and they are both from the A series, 4/6 and 5/6.

It was just the Spin Bakugan things. There's no way I could have recognized any of the new Bakugan's ball form. ONLY other new item I saw was some sort of TRU exclusive launcher.

Back from TRU with a Ventus BakuTin that has Darkus Lumagrowl and Vilantor. They also had the Pyrus (Coredem) and Aquos (Strikeflier) BakuTins along with all the other GI crap that I didn't bother to look at. Some special Toys R Us exclusive thing too.
