i dont think they are it makes since to have a bakugan series for promotional purposes only. it makes them that much better to the people that get them.

Yeah, the upcoming series could have a different name then BakuSteel. Maybe they were thinking along the lines of the steel Neo Dragonoid that was distributed at the San Diego Comic Con convention when they said for special events only.

I emailed Spinmasters about the Bakusteel Bakugan asking them when it would be available in stores, and they responded by telling me that the Bakusteel Bakugan are only for special events and that there is no plan for wide commercial release for them.

They are probably lieing because they dont want anyone to know about anything before it is "officially" released. Thats why on the "official" bakugan community, whenever you talk about anything that isnt "officially" released, the admins get all up in your face.
