Not sure what you mean there by retail. I have a B2 Ventus Mantris from a local retail store (Target) back in March. They only came as the "mystery" ball in starters.

They also were released in booster packs, but you are correct that in starter packs they were in the mystery ball position only.

Very true because when I spoke to Ernie again today we spoke about the B2 Mantris just now showing up on eBay (imports) I told him I have had the B2 Ventus Mantris since like Feb of '09 and the code on that one is 081206MP ('08 - Dec - 06 - Factory MP= shibang)and as a whole B2 Mantris' are STILL not out in retail 5 months later

I was finding B2 Mantris booster packs in retail stores at the end of December '08 and throughout January '09.

..... I actually saw a Bakuneon booster that had 2 aquos sirenoids and the hidden ball was a pyrus dual hydranoid.... WTF is up with that?
