NEW POST ACTAVATE!_____________________________________________________________________________________________________Ah, there is nothing I like better then foiling the plans of my oppenent, whatever plan they had, its not an option now.And here are my picks for the cards that do it best:
First off, we have the gate card: "Stand off" Its pretty messed up, locking your oppenent out of options for that battle, of course you could have played a card before rolling, and after the battle is over, but not during. So its all about stats for this one, with Fire comming on top."Rikimaro's surprise" is just so wrong. Gate card revealed, if you don't like it, turn it off. Hey your oppenents brillant plan with that gate? Its gone."Copycat" Ahh I said before I don't like relying on my oppenents to do things for me, but here I'll make an execption because I do get to choose. You want to play this after they have used 2 Bakugan so that you get two choices and know what one has the highest G (or lowest if you were going to swap them anyway!) "Copycat" is not a direct foil to your oppenent's plans but what better way to end then to use your oppenent's resorces as your own. In fact, "Copycat" could be used well in the Low-G style that I talked about in my first review.

Today I'm going to look at Darkus cards!First up, there are no gate cards that help Darkus out as of now, so you'll just have to pick the ones that give you greater number advange overall. I've found the gates that do this best:

Yeah.. so if you happen to see a Darku Gargonoid then you will want to trade for / buy that Otherwise, its just a normal boost."Bakugan Swap" is a tricky one to make good use of, since you'll have to have a used Bakugan so this should typicaly be the second gate card you would play. It should mess your oppenent up more then you as you planed on doing it. "Dusk" of course just gives a bonus to Darkus (highest of all the non-effect gates to Darkus)Now that we know what gates we will be working with, lets see if any ablity cards can help out.
Again, we don't have alot of options here, so I'm going with what provides the highest boost. You would expect the card "Power from Darkness" to boost Darkus and it does, but you can only play it when you are on your oppenents gate card, so it has a limiation to it.I'll get to the "Doom card" in a moment, its a fav of alot of people for its effect. First I want to talk about the card "Darkus""Darkus" the card, is something I just don't like playing, and I'll be brining this up again I'm sure as there are other cards like this. It requires you to have a number value , in this case less then 70 (69 and down) so if your G-power is 69 higher or less (but still higher even by 1 point) you could use this card, yuk. Now, if you get lucky the effect is great. But I just dont want to rely on my oppenents G, since there cards could boost there Bakugan AFTER I play my card. Now lets talk about the "Doom card" - card. The "Doom card" says :"Play at the start of a battle. The losing player's Bakugan is removed from the game. Your Bakugan gains power based on its Attibute."Your Darkus Bakugan will be the only one to gain the +30 from this card. The other bonus here is that the losing player (hopefully not you) will have there Bakugan removed from the game. This meens that Bakugan doesnt go into the "used pile" it is removed from play. Your oppenent cant use it again (this battle anyway)Of course, if you lose, then you will have to remove your Bakugan. But such is the risks we take.Finaly since I did not cover any red cards:
Both of these alow you to re-roll if you mess up, "Do over" alows Darkus (and others) to re-roll. And "Re-Roll" Alows you to well, re-roll if your oppenent allready has a standing Bakugan. Of course there are other red cards that could be used, but these were the only ones that targeted Darkus directly, other ones alow any Bakugan to be rolled or rerolled etc. Just pick the one that fits you best. hope you injoy the fun though! its not the first time that figures have been combined with cards, but its been awhile, and other ones havent had this cool feature of poping open. Hope you have fun posting ideas here
