July 7, 2009 at 11:05 pm #253823I think "rare" is overrated. Whatever you want, and don't have is rare in my opinion.
Not just to you naru but to all...The word "rare" when we (and I feel safe saying this) resellers/sellers use this word on something means that it is not easily obtainable and if so it will cost a hefty buck... So for Bakugan per say "rare" is anything which you just can't go to eBay and price shop it nor can you just pic it up for the avg. Bakugan sale price.. Not sure if you understand but I hope this helps...

XDXI've been meaning to design my own bakugan anyway... but there's a big gap in designing between what can feasibly be made... and a pure fantasy Bakugan. So...what I'm saying is... does the contest entry still have to actually "work"?
Yes it does have to work and it does have to look like it realistically would... i.e. a ball turning into a rectangle is obviously not workable. Well like I said getting it actually made is not impossible for me to get it done as I d o have the connections and they have said yes they can do this but I am just not willing to make the kind of investment it will take to get it done.

Yes but I am going to post on this thread a list of the ones which are not available as prizes due to A. Out of Stock or B. I only have 5 or less of them (remember I have a store to run and have most listed on there and this contest is still two weeks away from being completed)

Now that you decided your'e not gonna make the bakugan anymore, do you want us to post pics of our bakugan with monster forms?
Monster forms will not count for contest entries but you can post them if you want others to see your work. I think allowing monster forms now would not be fair to those which have already invested time into marble forms.

No I just uploaded it to have an image file to post and also so my contact has a picture to go by so he can find this Bakugan for me.

Okay.... after speaking to my contact, though he is FULLY capable he said, it would be WAY too much of an investment to have them make any kind of toy for that matter. He quoted me atleast $5K not including min. qty. of 2k pcs...So for all to know it is not financially feasible nor lucrative for me to make that kind of investment for a project like this. I did mention in the first post that it was not a sure thing that the winning pic would actually be made into a toy but it was my main objective.With that being said this contest is OFFICIALLY just an art contest and I will up the prize since I read this is starting to be clamored for...
