Cool. The basic rules might be too much for 6-8 years old. Check out our simplified game rules which you might be able to figure out without the need of a person to demo it to you.http://www.bibscollectibles.com/bakugan_battle_brawlers_simple_game_rules.php
February 18, 2010 at 10:05 pm #371227Im surprised that we have not yet gotten any info on the Bakugan online game. They can take their time as long as it does not fail as an online/mmog. The Bakugan game was nice but the lifespan was terrible. We got bored playing it only after a couple of days.
February 18, 2010 at 9:16 pm #371215Thanks! We are also working hard to get as much info on the Bakugan battle brawler game. Hopefully we'll get most of the stuff out before the NY Bakucon is over.
February 18, 2010 at 8:44 pm #371210Heh another game. They still have to get the online game going.FYI I found this somwhere on the netThe Canadian production company Corus Entertainment revealed during its Investor Day event on September 29 that the third season of the Bakugan anime series, Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders, is set for next year. Corus also noted that the Bakugan massively multi-player online game has been green-lit for next year as well. The first two anime seasons recount the adventures of Daniel (Danma "Dan" Kūsō in Japanese) and his friends as they help free Vestroia, the alternate world of the Bakugan warrior Dragonoid (Drago for short). Sega Toys President Isao Kokubun had already said this past spring that his company was aiming to produce a third season of the popular Bakugan Battle Brawlers anime series. The third season will tie into the global online game project that Activision Blizzard will release for the Nintendo DS and Wii, Sony PlayStation, and Microsoft Xbox platforms. The online game project is console/handheld
February 18, 2010 at 4:03 am #371091Me too so we'll see if this is just another “I want attention!” reply.
February 18, 2010 at 4:01 am #371090The target clearance is the best bang for your buck! Too bad all we had were some really terrible left over Bakugan items.
February 18, 2010 at 3:58 am #371086What is it? I think that is what everyone wants to find out.

NP and the rest just wanted the Bakugan, not the cards, Gear, Evos, or the rules.
Exactly, and what annoys me to no end is that they were allowed at the previous Cons, the Battle Masters KNEW the one kid was using a GI, when he asked them if he could use it they said "Yes, but not the cards that came with it." WHY THE **** DID THEY BAN THEM NOW AND NOT THEN?!?[/capslock]
It's because they're too scared to confront anyone without a written mandate. If they ban someone without a mandate and it turns out it was okay, there would be more hell to pay than NOT disqualifying someone without authoritative descisions to back it up.
SM needs to really work on the game rules. They have a good product but the core of the product which is the game is a mess in some areas. Their FAQ is insufficient. They should start creating a gameplay ruling database or list that will deal with the different issues that players encounter with the game. Official rulings that should cover card errors, turn sequences, legal plays, etc. It's their game. They can pretty much say or enforce any rule as long as they they make it clear and make it official. I know this is a lot of hard work but if they keeping adding to the game without the solid foundation of the game rules then they are bound to create confusion and frustration among players.

Look at it this way. If someone played a quake dragonoid as a regular bakugan (because you mentioned you only wanted the Bakugan) then this would cause a problem because the Quake dragonoid is a bakugan that requires special conditions under the S3 rules. People are complaining about the rules and how loosely enforced they are already and you want SM to include Bakugan from a different set which is just bound to add more confusion to the chaos.
It would not cause any problem as it's over the 780g cap. The person I battled in FL who used a GI was told that GIs could be used as long as none of the cards were used and they weren't above 780g. It's not rocket science, unless you ask SM to figure it out....
That's exactly my point. SM will need to come up with additional rules just to allow the S3 bakugan and we still don't know for sure which ones are 780 since not all of the merchandise are out.
February 17, 2010 at 11:54 pm #370970Dragonoid is probably the most reproduced or recreated Bakugan. Don't lose hope yet. They've released 2 new versions with the new S3 and they have no reason not to come up with more versions.

February 17, 2010 at 11:24 pm #370957It is fair not to include the GI bakugan with the Baku-Con event. The new cards, new battle gears and new features will add too much confusion plus the fact that the GI merchandise has not reach all major retailers, then it gives an advantage to those who have it against those who could not get it because they were simply unavailable or not yet in stock. The one competitors have to look out for are the fake S2 B3 bakugan like the 780 Myriad hades. It is so funny that after the discussion on the Bakugan.com forum that they are doing a cheat sheet for the judges to figure out which one is S2 and S3. At least now they know what happens when you have poor distribution and you have items that are not supposed to be released come out too early.

February 17, 2010 at 3:48 am #370735I actually never heard of a walmart or target employee saying something is showing up tomorrow. Usually they will only tell you if it's available or on the shelf or if they don't have it.
