I don't believe the Gear opening on the Bakugan has anything to do with the pegs. The GI Bakugan compatible with Battle Gear have 1 more magnet in them than the other Bakugan. And that magnet is placed close to those 2 pegs. If you have one of the new Clear GI Bakugan like Lumigrowl, Strikeflier or Coredem you'll see theres a magnet very close to the 2 pegs. And then conversely, the Battle Gear have a magnet close to the peg holes as well, as to create the trigger action of the 2 magnets otherwise to just open it from a Gate card. All Battle Gears fit all GI Bakugan, not including Legacy Bakugan.

got pyrus turbine dragonoid 710 gs, aquos quake dragonoid 940 gs, aquos mystic elico (400, 450, 600, 650, 700, and 800 gs), haos dual elfin revolution (aquos, subterra, darkus, 560, 650, 750 gs), haos moonlit monarus 710 gs, subterra ultra dragonoid typhoon 700 gs, and darkus alpha percival cyclone 700 gs.
That goes in the GI finds.
Not to butt in, but Quake Dragonoid is a Special Assault, aka Special Attack, so it could go in either thread. Just sayin'...
quack dragonoid is a super assault not a special attack. if special attacks and super assaults were meant to be consideres special attacks they would still be called special attacks.
They're the same thing! The new starters are called Triads. Just a different name.
March 19, 2010 at 1:14 am #383218What part are you at? I'm at the Akiza battle in whatshisface's apartment.
I haven't been playing Story Mode, just World Championship mode.
March 19, 2010 at 12:48 am #383186I bought World Championship 2010. So far its been pretty much the same as all the other ones, at least like 2007, which is the other one I have. Only real notable difference is that dueling is so slow. Whenever the opponent does something, it always makes you check the field. Thereby slowing the duel down. And I can't seem to find a way to turn it off either. I think I picked the wrong pack of boosters in the game too because my deck ain't looking so great at the moment.
March 19, 2010 at 12:43 am #383181This argument is just going back and forth and just needs to be locked up. And I'm pretty sure everyone would agree that SM needs to fix or fully explain the rules of playing their game.
March 18, 2010 at 12:45 am #382950Just beat 2nd Gyms in both of my games. Togepis are going to my Pokewalkers ;D

Just speculating but I don't think Vilantor goes with Shun, since its shown in the packaging iirc with Phosphos.
So? Phosphos could be Shun's new bakugan. But, he'll probably keep Ingram.
Plus you just FAIL'd, also Phosphos was shown wearing a gear on a card, don't remember which card
Well I agree its fail that Phosphos would be Shun's new Bakugan. And Phosphos was wearing claw like Battle Gear on "Phosphos Armory".
March 17, 2010 at 10:08 pm #382900That basically is saying you are limited to playing only 1 Ability/Trap/Gear per turn then. And then also creates the point that there are no turns at all in fact and its all just taking turns playing 1 Ability/Trap/Gear only.

Solution: Rock Hammer x]
You can probably take out one of your opponent's battle gear. Remember you have to take turns putting the gears into play.Player 1 puts Rock Hammer . Discards Players 2 1st GearPlayer 2 Puts down his 2nd Gear. Player 1 puts another rock Hammer. No Gear to discard.
Hmmm I also thought that you could play everything you wanted on your turn all at once even. Since there is no phases of play, its basically a shouting match. Can you show where it says where it says you must alternate players between playing an Ability Card/Battle Gear/Trap?This can all be blamed on SM not making any phases of play or concrete way of rules of who's turn it is also.
umm it's there in the FAQWhen using more than one Battle Gear or Trap be sure to process them one at a time - play the Battle Gear or Trap, fully resolve its effect, play the other Battle Gear or Trap, and fully resolve its effect. The fact that you resolve it one at a time means you opponent should always be able to play a gear right after you play yours. No way is should be played by simply dumping 2 gears at a time and not letting your opponent respond to the first gear. It's like playing an ability card. You can't play 2 ability cards at once without at least letting your opponent have a chance to play an ability card after playing the first one.
All these things you're only assuming. It doesn't say anywhere that you must let your opponent respond though.
*sigh* You are completely missing the point. The game does not technically let you play whatever without letting your opponent play a card, trap or in this case a gear. After every player action which is considered a turn then your opponent can play an action. The action of your opponent may be a response to your previous action but that is not the point. You opponent still gets a chance to do an action.
You are the one with the misconception though. You're thinking of the this game like any other game such as Yugioh or Magic the Gathering or any other card game with basically the same conventional rules. Bakugan doesn't have those conventional rules. Its almost like they're making them up as they go along. I'm not saying that its right, but just about everyone has been playing this way. And just because everyone has been playing this way, does not make it the right way, but its not like the rules state otherwise. Seriously, does it actually say, that you are limited to playing 1 Ability/Trap/Gear on your turn? And that by playing an Ability/Trap/Gear ends your turn.
