I'm pretty sure it's a joke. Ditto is a Pokemon, and a Pitfall trap is from Animal Crossing.

Yeah, Ditto's a Pokemon that can take on the shape and powers of any other... thing, anything really. And I chose Pitfall as a joke, "A Pitfall Trap" also from Pokemon- Sort of. I really have dug pitfall traps before...

There are actually a lot of Bakugan with holes that might fit with them… I think Apollonir can, and maybe Elfin… I don't have either Klawgor, or Scraper, so I can't try it….
