um lets break it down and see if we can solve thisStart of battle=when gate card is flipped overEffect of gatecard is followed first, then abilities can be played.then calculationsooo... i'm guessing you can since it says at the start of a battle.. and SM has been really stressing the "Start of a battle is when the GC is flipped over" part..
it all makes sense now, thats why they're re release old bakugan so that they can have DNA codes chucked on em, so eventually all bakugan will be playable
