Well, I don't seem to have any Sunblock around my house, but would this also work on steel Bakugan? I would love to see how they come out.

Sunblock's cheap and widely available, so that should be fixed pretty soon.Steel treatment is like core treatment, only with silver metallic paint, so it should still work.

So, if you think about it if someone were to do that with a steel Bakugan then, it would just be black......I need sunblock to protect my Bakumons from the sun.How did you figure this out anyway Kohdok?

Internets. I looked up how to remove Dry Erase marker since I'd gotten some on my Wavern and isopropyl didn't work. I typed it into google and got back "Sunblock" to remove dry-erase marker. As I was removing it, the gold paint came with it.

I've also heard that rubbing alcohol works. I might have to try with both!

Wrong. I said that in one of my other posts. Rubbing (Isopropyl) alcohol does not remove the paint, just the ink for the symbol, the G's, and the serial number.EDIT: Wow. Do I have a knack for making stickied topics or what? Here's another one: an Aquos Ultra Dragonoid (Formerly Core) now stripped. It seems that the sunblock removes the metallic paint and the Baku-core treatment, but leaves the opaque yellow and red alone.DSC00108.jpg

I have a question. Have you experimented with different types of sunscreen such as the spray type and if so how effective is one type against another?

I've only used two different kinds: Walgreens store brand (Which was somewhat effective) and the Melaleuca brand mixed with some Melaleuca oil (Which is QUITE effective). The internets source I got it from used Coppertone to remove ink from a T-shirt, so Coppertone probably works, too.Use the tube kind. The spray kind doesn't have the same properties as far as I know and doesn't saturate a cloth nearly as well. You really need to buff the paint off.

I did this with my subterra core atmos, and it worked beautifuly, I already custmoized it with black detailing to maintain the core look, yet have it more refined, pics soon

    Hooray!

Customizing Bakugan just got a whole lot easier, I've got to try this with a core Alto Brontes. Thanks

Lemme know if it works out!

OMSHIZZLE!!! So like what do you do with the sunblock, Im confuzzled?

Squirt some sunblock onto a little washcloth, mush the sunblock around in the cloth until it saturates it like it was a damp cloth, then use it to buff your bakugan.

So all the paint will come off? But the Symbol and the G-powers won't come off.

Right. The G-power, symbol, and serial number are stamped on with an ink that (In most cases) comes off with Isopropyl alcohol rather than oil-based cleaners. The paint used on bakugan comes off with oil-based cleaners but NOT with Isopropyl alcohol. They're different paints.

That is brilliant. I would have never thought that something as random as sunblock could be such a powerful Bakugan customizing tool. Thank you for sharing this info with everyone.

Well, I added a little melaleuca oil (A proprietary substance, as far as I know) to the sunblock I used to make it more effective, but regular Walgreens did the job, albeit more slowly. Try and see if your own sunblock would work.

Say, aren't the traps in Maxus Dragonoid already a different treatment of trap? They're a different color from other traps of the same attribute and have the "Maxus Dragonoid Piece" status (As of the "Maxus Dragonoid" ability card). Wouldn't that make them sort of special treatment? I guess that would also make them the first alternate traps.Or at least they will be when their regular versions come out... IF they come out...As for special treatment SA's, Marucho Evolution Pack, anyone?

The keyword here is “Evolve”. You can swap a regular Dragonoid for an Ultra Dragonoid and get the bonus.

Looks like crap. The animation quality reminded me of another crappy animation I'm not allowed to name according to the rules. We'll see if any action is taken. As of now, it's just a teaser trailer, but we'll see.

I bet that's a joke.... no one really cares except Spinmaster... I mean honestly, it's not that big a deal to anyone but the company that's being copied. XD

Or the parent's who buy the cheap knockoffs loaded down with lead paint...
