It's not so much price as it is a supply/demand thing with the Bakugan market. All of the bakugan that people actually WANT are bought up quickly leaving nothing but junk (*Ahem Subterra Shadow Vulcan*)behind, and toys don't get circulated the way produce does, so people have to turn to the internet to get the Bakugan they want.
