GC set! Gundalian Invaders rules okay?Who goes first?
March 1, 2010 at 8:50 pm #375113Where on earth did you hear that? I was giving a lecture on what fake bakugan look like, some kid thought he had a fake, left, and CAME BACK crying with a judge.I certainly defeated a lot of people, but none of them cried about it. I talked about fake bakugan alot, too, and nobody before then cried about it, either...I say if I had been given more free reign to film, then I would not have been giving lectures but instead fervently filming like I was on day 1 before I got caged up.
March 1, 2010 at 8:46 pm #375110I think the best way to get SM's attention is if another game would appear that would compete directly with Bakugan. Im hoping that the rumored Pokemon game that we saw a long time ago would materialize. Introducing another competing product into a well established franchise would kill Bakugan instantly if executed properly.A Bakugan league is an awesome idea. Even a once a month event or quarterly one so kids and their parents can plan. I think SM should fire their entire Bakugan marketing team or hire professionals to give them advice on how to fix (yes their Bakugan franchise is broken) their game.
Like I said, they're creating and marketing a product rather than organizing a serious card game and that is their BIGGEST mistake.
March 1, 2010 at 8:57 am #374949Like the beginning, but, what up with using Alto Brontes, when Wired was the first one to come out with the problem? Otherwise another great review.
Alto Brontes is the first one I came across, and its problem is by far the most blatant.
March 1, 2010 at 8:52 am #374947Like that's going to do much. They're just going to delete it.
Exactly. SM sees their fans as idiots.Do I really need a college degree to see that the whole "Widely publicize a product and then never make it" plan is absurd? How about the "Hold an expensive national tournament, exclude most of your fanbase, and then despite having product box backings and a TV show where ads would fit, only publicize it on your website all the while hiring casual judges and only give half-assed information to the staff" plan?

March 1, 2010 at 8:19 am #374930To bad the site's down. Only if they could read this and wasn't the Percival in the anime Midnight Percival?
If they want my opinion, they've gotta come here to find it. I say stuff here I wouldn't say there, though I must admit I'm sorely tempted to wad up a sum of money equal to the amount they paid for my hotel stay and just throw it in their faces one bill at a time to show my disdain towards them. While I still like the Bakugan franchise, I feel betrayed by Spinmaster's numerous screw-ups, one of which impacted me directly.
March 1, 2010 at 8:13 am #374927Sounds fine with me, if someone clicks on the dang link.....Okay,someone just clicked on it..... I got heads. What about whoever else?
That was me. So did I.
March 1, 2010 at 8:11 am #374926I think I can sum up Bakugan Buzz's opinion of Spinmaster in a single sentence:"We love Bakugan, but we hate YOU!!"Why? Because it's blatantly obvious that due to poor management, the franchise is being held back from its full potential. Flare Wilda, Iron Dragonoid, Flash Ingram, and Mutant Elfin are all example of this. Despite promises made a long time ago, we have yet to see ANY of them! Not even on eBay!!Also, The Gatekeepers, Cross Dragonoid, Minx Elfin, Master Ingram, True Cyclone Percival, Boriades, Mac Spider, Macubass, Farbros, Dryoid and others, all given personality and/or really important roles in the animated series seem to be doomed to never be made into Bakugan. Sure, the Yu-Gi-Oh show has cards that don't show up, but they tend to be minor and/or game-breaking. That's why so far NONE of the ability and gate cards we've seen in Bakugan have shown up, but to skip some of the most important characters and not create them into marble form would be like skipping Yubel or Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, it just SHOULDN'T happen!!Spinmaster, YOU SUCK!!
March 1, 2010 at 8:02 am #374924Well then, let's make the cointossr clause.
March 1, 2010 at 7:22 am #374919PLEASE not wotc. They're busy driving their own franchises into the ground and only their stable fanbase

Ha. That's funny Smeaegle. I actually have the exact opposite feeling that Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh die out leaving Bakugan the dominant brand for years to come.
I must disagree. Yugioh and Pokemon have stable fan bases and have existed beyond mere fan status. If any drop off first, I think it'll be Yugioh, though Bakugan has its fair share of problems.
That is true. I think the death of Bakugan will probably because of the brand mismanagement. They have too many problems that for the longest time have never been addressed. Distribution and gameplay issues are just some and we really do not understand why they are not interested in even slowly resolving them. They've angered players, alienated the most knowledgeable age group and have products tied in with their core product that no one else except SM has info on. They've released some exclusive items that left players and collectors wondering what they do and they've got a game that nobody has info on (not even info who made it) except for some screenshots and a sort of demo. Bakugan has been around long enough to mature to a point that it should be well established but that does not seem to be the case.
You know what? I'm tempted to say it: Spinmaster is not worthy of Bakugan.
