Exactly what do you mean by you can't use the bakugan trap?In the rulebook, once you've played all your bakugan, you get them and your trap.If you mean something else, Shiny Devil is a play during battle cardIf it still isn't this, where does it say I may not use my trap?

Bakugan Trap may be used during the start of a battle, once an ability is used its no longer the start, would be my guess

Yoshi pretty much explained it. Bakugan Traps HAVE to be played BEFORE you play ability cards.
