You don't win the gate card but his Bakugan goes to the used pile, while your Bakugan stays on the gate card. That was a waste of an ability card by the way.

Two things wrong with your team set-up.1. You have two Blue ability cards. (In the rules, you must have 3 of each color)2. Two of your HSP cards are both characters. Which is treated as Gold gate cards. You can only have one.
