OBJECTION!Y is pronounced as a vowel, but technically is NOT a vowel. the only vowels in the alphabet are A,E,I,O,U.
Y technically IS a vowel, but is sometimes not treated as one. But it IS a vowel, as every English word must have at least one vowel.

My teacher is obsessed with English, and she says y is a vowel, but sometimes is not treated as one. Like in the word "Rhythm" there is no vowel, so y is treated as the vowel. And don't trust wiki for your answers allthe time guys.
