Nah it was an opaque one.
November 24, 2009 at 12:46 pm #342693Well I went back to the shop, turns out the only other Thunder Wilda they had also didn't have a G value (must have been a faulty batch of Thunder Wilda's), so I got a normal Wilda instead, with 620G.Thing is bakugan singles are fairly easy to get here, its just the cards that are a pain, they don't sell them anywhere...
November 24, 2009 at 5:10 am #342665Haha thanks. I also got myself a green Altair with 710G today 😀I'm curious, where is the G value located on a Thunder Wilda? I can't seem to find it.....what happens if my bakugan has no G value on it at all?
November 23, 2009 at 1:37 pm #342024Ah thats awesome, because today I got this:
Just in case someone says its not original:
The screws with the triangular holes
Copyright stampNovember 23, 2009 at 10:22 am #341978Curious; is there a rule somewhere mentioning that your three bakugan have to be of the same color?
November 23, 2009 at 3:23 am #341611So do you use it as one of your three bakugan? Whats the rule on using them?
November 23, 2009 at 3:15 am #341647Silly question; whats a Trap Bakugan, and whats it do?
November 22, 2009 at 4:28 pm #341173Is there a “you can only have one of each bakugan” rule, or can I just buy three and be done with it?What about the cards and whatnot, how do I get them?
November 22, 2009 at 4:20 pm #341171O_oPity, I like brown. Well no huge loss I guess, the G values on my subterra pieces I got were kinda crappy anyway. They will remain as my metal rack decorations then :XAny suggestions on what I should buy for Haos?
November 22, 2009 at 4:09 pm #341168Ah thats interesting, but theres a set distance I presume?I have a few other questions:1) What kind of pieces should I keep my eyes out for? It seems certain designs are "rarer" than others.2) Does the design of the bakugan have an effect on gameplay? I'd imagine some bakugan are more stable due to their design.3) In a two player game, how do you set up the field? 3x2 cards?4) I'm thinking of playing with brown and grey, since the other colors somehow seem a little too bright for me :X Any advice? Thanks
November 22, 2009 at 3:19 pm #341147Ah awesome, at least I got that out of the way hahaI'm wondering, how exactly do you "throw" your bakugan? Do you flick it like a carrom piece, roll it like a die, or slam it on the table as if you were playing table tennis (minus the racket)?
November 22, 2009 at 3:05 pm #341134Nah, as I mentioned I got them from a large retail outlet. The chance of them being fake is almost none. I'm from Asia though, so I'm guessing theres a chance its the Japanese edition, as I mentioned.
November 22, 2009 at 2:52 pm #341121So I bought a starter, figured I could use some decorative magnets anyway 😛Only thing is, the shop I went to only sold these unusually packaged bakugan. Not sure why they are packaged that way, but the shop is a huge retail outlet so it has to be original, and theres a sticker there that indicates purchasing it entitles you to enter some sort of local bakugan competition. I'm guessing its the Japanese version? The cards and rules are still written in English though.Front of the pack
Back of the pack
Unfortunately their G values were kinda low
November 21, 2009 at 3:47 pm #340125Interesting…I'm usually more of a hybrid player; winning through force, but weakening him before attacking, rather than trying to win with pure brute force.I guess I'll go for what I like looking at; is there a gallery of sorts where I can see all the pieces and cards? Thanks
November 21, 2009 at 6:54 am #339896Starters have strong pieces? Thats rare; most games give crap in starters hahaDo the different colors have different playstyles?
