It'll help if someone would kindly post the text of Quick End, please. I searched, but couldn't find it. >.>; So I can know why this start would be useful.
November 28, 2009 at 3:17 am #344893Gosh, am I the only person here who sometimes brawls with his dad? <_<; Heck my dad lately has been the one asking to brawl. I think it's because he keeps on beating me… or that he knows I enjoy it.Anyways, collect like you decided to do, but have a team ready just in case you ever feel like brawling. If you collect a lot you should have lots of Bakugan and cards to build a good team with, so yeah. 😛I personally just collect Bakugan that I think look cool. If I see a Bakugan that I really like, I'll see if I can get one of them. I don't go crazy and collect multiple attributes of one of them or anything. I do brawl with dad and if the opportunity arises, my little cousins.
November 28, 2009 at 2:44 am #344869Currently?Pyrus Helios - 680 G - BakuBronze (I think) - Super Target, Crystal, MN - BoosterHaos Brontes (sp?) - S/S/B, er, China, I mean, 670G (had trouble finding it there ;_;) - BakuNeon - Target, Brooklyn Center, MN - StarterBronze Darkus Hades - 630G - BakuBronze - Target, Brooklyn Center, MN - BoosterThe specific store is shown to show that I didn't get them all at the same store. Kind of unnecessary, but eh.This will probably change drastically this Holiday season when I get some B3s; I wish I could buy some before Christmas, to make it more balanced when I play with cousins during holiday gatherings (often we all have to use my toys because they don't bring theirs. Little cousins are awesome, though, I'll admit that much... yes, I share my kid toys with kids, sue me; better than playing Hide and Seek for hours, and yes, they are like 10 years and more younger than me, and I'm 17 ;_;). But, it's after Thanksgiving, so I can't buy anything until after Christmas.@Metaaltair825: Not really sad, his two Bakugan are pretty average if you only have a couple New Vestroia Bakugan and no B3s, and considering Excedra is Bakuswap and his Ingram came from a contest, that could very well be the case.It wasn't until last summer that 700+ Gs became common; nothing really sad with not buying lots of plastic toys to get high powered ones. Seriously.
November 27, 2009 at 9:08 pm #344770At the Target I went to, starters were $8, said it used to be $11.99. Also boosters at $4.44 as opposed to $4.99.I showed my dad a B3 that I wanted, told him things like this are what to look for, and said I was going to buy it, he said no, we went to the Bakugan section, I put it back, he said to look at shovels, he caught up eventually, looked in his basket and... now I know what I'm getting for Christmas. -_-; One of the things at least.Gamestop was better, 2 for 1, crowded, brother 'lost' his watch, etc.
November 3, 2009 at 3:12 am #325294The topic is that the FAQ is updated a few days ago, so there shouldn't be any more issues like these. We hope. For the future, if Bakugan connect, they are played as separate pieces normally, but count as part of the set if a card calls for it. Ex. Construction (or is it Building?) Gate has you take an unused Maxus Helios piece, Ex. Helios. You can then roll it, and if it lands on the Gate Card, you can use its G-Power and Attribute if you wish. You can not connect the whole thing together and then roll it, nor can you magically put all 7 pieces onto the gate card at once.BTW, the reason they did this was A. So they could have another epic last fight, and B. To make money. Kind of cool, though. Think of it as a manly doll made up of collectible game pieces, since that is basically what it is.
July 25, 2009 at 4:34 am #261609I <3 Leonidas and Omega Leonidas. So cool. I think I'll get the Wii game for sure now. Wasn't sure before. So cool looking, seriously, they're sweet!
July 25, 2009 at 4:32 am #261611Omega Leonidas, obviously. 😛If I saw this earlier, it would've been... Apollinir, any Dragonoid, Wayvern, (any) Naga, Hades, (Viper) Helios, etc. That probably tells you what I really really really like, but eh. Probably Apollinir the most, though. Otherwise Omega Leonidas.Oh and this is more for the "feeling" than power, if you know what I mean.
July 25, 2009 at 4:25 am #261617That I know where they are and can access them? 15. In total, including the ones that mysteriously disappeared? 17....Dang I have a low amount compared to some of you.
May 24, 2009 at 12:19 am #234495Shun's Launcher is great when you look at it and think about it.Then you think about it some more and realize how much it stinks!Sure, it may be useful in Big Battle... but with Attractor and Magnetic Rise, you have a good chance of not even being able to battle on your gate cards, and it could very well go like this;*you use Shun's Launcher, move opponent's two Bakugan to your gate cards*You: Yay, I landed on my own gate card!Opponent: Attractor! You: Shoot...Opponent: I roll, land on one of yours, already got a Bakugan on it, move it to my gate card, battle. Whether they win or lose doesn't matter. Then this happens:You: I roll again... Opponent: Magnetic Rise! I move it to my last gate card! You: $@$&Opponent: I roll, land on yours since it's closer, move to my gate card, battle! Then that happens again. Here's the bad part:You: I roll...You make it, battle happens. Then:Opponent: I roll, thanks for the free gate card! *looks at card* Oh, you're so nice, if we had an actual battle on this gate card, I would've lost! That should make it clear enough. If you both have 100% rolling accuracy, but they have the superior Magnetic Rise and Attractor waiting for you, and you use Shun's Launcher in the only situation where it would be better, you end up with two battles on their gate card, 1 on yours; a nice disadvantage. Just use Magnetic Rise/Attractor, or even better, both!
On a serious note, it's not that bad of a card. Just that Magnetic Rise and Attractor both outclass it; they both do the same thing as Shun's Launcher pretty much, except they can start and avoid battles. Also, Magnetic Rise can be used if your opponent tries to miss on purpose with a Bakugan, and it would get you a winning battle. Attractor can't be used that way though. ><;May 23, 2009 at 4:40 pm #234439K, here's some advice, with what you have.Grab your lowest G-Power Darkus Bakugan. Also use Darkness to Victory as your Green. Now, lose on purpose with the Darkus Bakugan (ASAP), then use Darkness to Victory. So all the future gate cards you opponent plays will be played face-up. So you know if they're going to try to pull a lower-g-power-wins on you. This should help you immensely. From there, look at your cards, and look for ones that give you either A. A nice amount of G Power, or B. Control over where the Bakugan are/what battles you fight. You might want to pick up a Card Power House; $13, 30 cards, helps you a lot. Hope that helps. 😛
