Ah, OK. Where I come from, “core” is the word for non-special bakugan. This was before we got the term “Bakucore” as a new type of bakugan.

There are bakugan that have not been released yet called Flare Wilda and Moonlight Monarus. Their pictures on the poster show some part of them glowing. I had guessed before that it was bakugan like these that “Special FX” referred to.

no, core is steel brushed, but regular color inside, steel is steel brushed on the whole thing

Originally I would have said it was a Pyrus Hades with his cannons out, a la the anime when Shadow uses a certain ability card. He looks the same as a Darkus Hades, only red. Then I noticed the extra guns on its chest and knees, and that the wings and arms look a tad different…
