Did we get an official feedback on this matter? Clearly this needs to have an official ruling since there is always a big chance that a player will try to play 2 gears on his/her bakugan during the battle.
Well they have not responded to me on the Gameplay F.A.Q. thread yet BUT I did message ADMIN Brightlight and she sent me the following OFFICIAL response which really needs to be UPDATE into the F.A.Q !!:Date:03-19-10Subject:Re: Battle Gear Rules/Gameplay F.A.Q. and also TURN ORDER in BATTLEHi BakuganSensei,Thanks for sending me the link.Yes you are correct in saying "Battle Gear and their respective abilities must be alternated EXACTLY like Ability Cards in a Battle."Hope this helps.
~BrightLightTAIL END OF MY ORIGINAL MESSAGE TO HER FOLLOWS:"...BTW, the argument about using TWO ROCK HAMMERS in a row to ROCK HAMMER out your opponents Battle Gear AND ALSO about how the TURN BASED SYSTEM is supposed to work in battle, see the thread over at BakuganBuzz.com, one of your official Partners.http://www.forum.bakuganbuzz.com/index.php/topic,12072.0.htmlPlease read it if you get a chance. You don't have to be a member to read it, just a guest I think...~BakuganSensei~"March 20, 2010 at 4:56 pm #383724Got a Gold Jetkor from Target and found a new batch of bakutriads from walmart that finally restocked:Clear Viper Helios 720 gsSubterra Strikeflyer 600 gsHaos Lumagrowl 660 gsDarkus Ingram 790 gs(You'll want this NP.)Subterra Coredem 640 gsVentus Helix Dragonoid 640 gsPyrus IngramVentus PhosphosHaos Helix DragonoidHaos Hyper DragonoidSubterra StrikeflyerPyrus LumagrowlAquos IngramVentus StrikeflyerDarkus AviorHaos HeliosAquos SnapzoidDarkus Avior
Just checking so no offense, but are you sure that it was a 790g Darkus Ingram and not a 790 Darkus Hades or Viper Helios ?I have not seen that case assortment yet.
March 20, 2010 at 4:35 pm #383722I don't remember anything about Myriad Hades being out in GI.
Whoops.. Good catch.Yeah, I meant a GI classic HADES not GI MYRIAD HADES.
March 20, 2010 at 5:26 am #383620anyone know where you can find the pyrus gundalian invader viper Helios? ??? ???
Your best bet for this is Walmart or Target. The Pyrus Viper Helios only comes in a SINGLE Bakutriad that is part of a particular case of them that feature Helios, Viper Helios, and Myriad Hades Baku-Legacy. This case was originally only
March 19, 2010 at 2:19 am #383240I also just got a vilantor gear but mine was silver 90gs i gust need a gold gearI got a bronze jet kore to 60gs
Silver Vilantor gear is actually only 80g. Gold is also only 80g(which appears to be another SCREW UP BY SPINMASTER and should have been either 70g OR 100g) and Bronze Copper is 90g.I found the NEW wave of Battle Gear at both Target AND Toys R Us today ! Grabbed me some GOLD JETKOR, some SILVER TURBINE, some COPPER ROCK HAMMER, some GOLD VILANTOR, some SILVER AIRKOR, and some EPICNESS in the form of the 100g COPPER TWIN DESTRUCTOR now sold separately. The FIRST wave of Battle Gear only contained Silver Jetkor, Copper Airkor, Gold Airkor, Copper Vilantor, Copper Battle Turbine, Gold Twin Destructor, and Silver Rock Hammer.

This argument is just going back and forth and just needs to be locked up. And I'm pretty sure everyone would agree that SM needs to fix or fully explain the rules of playing their game.
Agreed. SM, if you're reading this, fix your stuff.
I have just poised this thread and all questions over to the Gameplay F.A.Q thread on the my.bakugan community forums just like I did when they updated their last Gameplay F.A.Q. I am sure they will address this and I will be proven right on this IMO. Just like I was RIGHT about how the player who rolled and stood CREATING a battle in that very act, gets to go FIRST as to playing Battle Gear or Ability Cards ! ;DAnd Don't misquote my words, Lucario, I NEVER said that AC cards and BATTLE GEAR were the SAME THING ! Only that they are treated the same as far as the TURN based order of the game flow should go. Get it right.
March 19, 2010 at 12:39 am #383177The rulebook does only specify abilities, but its generalized to whoever's turn it was gets the FIRST move, and then you alternate, its really simple honestly.
I agree !! It is not a BIG JUMP in logic to ASSUME that Battle Gears are played in a alternating Fashion just like Ability Cards, right ? It's not that hard !?!?-But some people around here seem to be STUBBORN and pretty thick headed, quite frankly.-It's like talking to a WALL.
March 19, 2010 at 12:08 am #383158No, I get exactly what you're trying to say-- but the rulebook does NOT say that. It says that only for ability cards.
Well this is EXACTLY why they need to update the F.A.Q AGAIN and also UPDATE THE RULE book because BIB'S(and likely others) and I both think that EACH PLAYER TAKES TURNS using Abilities(Cards or Battle Gear or Traps etc). The rules refer to this as to Ability Cards and our argument is that Battle Gear and their respective abilities must be alternated EXACTLY like Ability Cards in a Battle.AND BTW, Timess just backed me up that it indeed IS STILL the turn of whoever stands and creates a Battle to play the first ability card, trap or gear.So who is wrong now ?
March 18, 2010 at 7:54 pm #383081
Player 1 rolls and Stands.Player 2 rolls and Stands on Same Gate starting Battle on HIS turn.Player 2 is STILL HIS TURN so he deploys Battle Gear and chooses to activate its ability as indicated on reference card.Player 1 is NOW HIS TURN and he counters by deploying own Battle Gear but is still losing and is wrong attribute to use Battle Gear special ability so instead activates an ability card and is now winning.Player 2 counters by Deploying a SECOND Battle Gear and chooses to activate its ability on reference card and after coin flips, is now winning.Player 1 counters by deplying a second ability card which resets all Bakugan and Gear to their owners used piles. Match Over. No Gate card won.The above is just for example. IT IS TURN BASED !
Fail. P1 stood first, therefore he gets to activate stuff first. And nowhere does it say that once you play a gear and resolve its effect, it's the oponents turn. Even if it does anywhere, you contradicted yourself."Player 1 is NOW HIS TURN and he counters by deploying own Battle Gear but is still losing and is wrong attribute to use Battle Gear special ability so instead activates an ability card and is now winning."If what you're saying is true, then he CAN'T play the ability. But, he did. So, which is it? He can only do one action per turn, or as many as necessary?
Well I am pretty sure that whoever rolled their Bakugan, if they MISS. Their turn is over. If they roll and STAND during that turn, I think it is still their turn. I will research this to see how they have officiated this in the past, as to who goes first, the person who caused the battle, or the person who stood first and is 'attacked' by a standing Bakugan that lands on their gate card.IN EITHER CASE, it is still a TURN BASED system, so that each brawler takes turns, and if a BRAWLER is in the LEAD, he will likely pass his turn to see what his opponent comes up with before taking his turn to deploy battle gear or ability cards. You cannot simply FREE FOR ALL YELL your way through.
March 18, 2010 at 5:32 pm #383038Gear=/=CardReferance Card=/= Ability CardGear=GearReferance Card=Referance CardPlus, Ability Cards go to your hand/unused pile or used pile, while referance cards stay on the sidelines.
Well the reference cards do stay out for REFERENCE since they are like Ability cards but NOT REALLY since they are not counted as an ability card with a one time use. RATHER they are there to tell you the BATTLE GEAR'S ABILITY that you can also activate when you deploy the Battle Gear if so desired. They are ONLY THERE so that you know what the ability of the gear is and so that you can activate it if desired, BUT the game is STILL TURN BASED. You SIMPLY cannot deploy a gear, fully resolve its effect, then DEPLOY another gear fully resolving its effect WITHOUT giving your opponent a chance to respond. AND the RULES clearly say you cannot DROP TWO at once since each one must be fully resolved before using another ! FINALLY,
March 18, 2010 at 4:42 pm #383033You can give them a chance. You don't HAVE to. If they beat you to it, then they beat you to it. You can play TD, resolve effect/s, then
