Yeah bring whatever you need. I'd suggest setting up 3-4 teams/decks. Remember you can change your team/cards after every match so if the playing field changes then you can adapt to it.
December 15, 2009 at 2:31 am #351847Do any of you think they will allow gauntlets in the tourney?
Yes if it will make the gauntlets sell like crazy. lol

You may have seen it in Bakugan Marbles section or Bakuwiki, now you can buy the Pyrus one here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250548411887<a href="Idk why I can't insert my video in the listing, but here is the video, for you to see and hear the light and sound (sorry if the volume is too low):" class="bbcode_url">Idk why I can't insert my video in the listing, but here is the video, for you to see and hear the light and sound (sorry if the volume is too low):http://www.flickr.com/photos/bigbirdx1/4180973948/<a href="
URL fail. Take off the URL tags, you just post the URL, idiot.
Slow down buckshot.Ugh, light up was a bad idea from the start... They should have made it simply glowing. Not all that tough to do... And that sound is annoying D=

December 14, 2009 at 4:20 pm #351595Bakugan has a rarity level because of the following conditions regardless of what SM will say:1. Poor distribution: All stores do not guarantee getting the same set of products or even all products released for bakugan. Ex : My local walmart store (not supercenter) never got B3 starters (as in NEVER) and only got the very first wave of B3 boosters. Ex 2 : My walmarts also never got the new wave of SA's (Mystic Elico, Dragonoid Typhhon). They've stocked twice with SA's and all they have are the old ones. Ex 3 : 2 Targets which I go to never got the any of the 1st two waves of B3 BakuSolar / Frost starters. They got the last version which I had the viper helios. They also never got the FalconFly Traps & Hexados case while they got the legionoid case of traps. FYI They also never got the very 1st wave of B3 starters. They got the 2nd set of B3 starters (non Frost/Solar)Ex 4 : is the NV BakuSteel series. Only now they are showing up but they've been released like 2-3 months ago. All my local stores started selling B3's while the bakusteel just started showing up now.2. No published Release date. SM will just release stuff whenever they feel like it without informing the community. This makes any new item rare because of item #1.Ex : Bakumutation. They announced some gameplay rules for this product but where the heck is it??3. Old stuff keeps coming back to the shelves. For some weird reason SM is still selling old stuff to retailers which is annoying. The retailers who have no clue about the items is selling stuff that will probably never get bought. This keeps new items from showing up on the shelves because retailers will not order items that are not out of stock and since many item share the same item code then they are basically stuck until they get sold out.4. Case variations. How can you say BakuSolar/Frost is common if only 2 starters come in a case of starters which has 16 starters total. Also keep in mind the 2 frost starters have different bakugan so a collector or player will probably buy both. Retailers usually stock just 1-2 cases meaning the case only has enough to provide for 2 collectors or players.

In other words, nothing can't take any presidence over a rule.
So you agree with me then lol 😀 You made a double negative...Aside from that lol moment, there's no way to 100% prove anything until the tourney comes around and we see what happens. IMO the tourney rule will be overthrown, but again that's just MO.
Well according to someone who attended the battle tour, the tourney rules was dropped. If SM does it again then it is an EPIC FAIL. It means they are bending the rules just to satisfy the rich and players who can afford. Like I stated before the tourney rules level and balance the playing field. The only one who will benefit from not having the tourney rules are the sellers. Means all Hi G-powered bakugan will be in high demand. BTW winning the event or the tourney is major bragging rights. Being world #1 is a great honor in any type of sanctioned play.

Everyone should just stop complaining. SM is enforcing the "Lowest G-power gets the gate bonus" rule to balance the playing field.
December 14, 2009 at 3:28 am #351449They are fun because some battles can be unpredictable. The only sure and effective team is the Low G-power Haos 2/Lost Jump Deck which basically only needs to be the lowest g power on every battle. Rulings aside. This is the best way to kick of the 2010 bakugan season. SM should go all out on advertising these events. Also it helps if SM can get some local retailer (Sucky TRU) to have some mini-tournaments.

I can't find this batch of Solar/Frost boosters. I've been checking all the stores almost everyday. This 3rd version of the BakuSolar/Frost starter case.

December 14, 2009 at 3:18 am #351438Here is what spinmaster says about tournament rules. You can find it from the FAQhttp://www.bakugan.com/gameplay/2.10: What is Tournament Rules play?Tournament play is an exciting and challenging next step for those seeking Bakugan mastery. There's only one rule that's different in Tournament Rules play, but it is important to know what it is before you play.As you know in regular play, when two Bakugan are in battle both receive the Gate Attribute bonus. In Tournament play, only one Bakugan receives the Gate attribute bonus and that is the Bakugan in battle with the LOWER printed G-Power.If the Bakugan in battle are tied with the lowest printed G-Power then they both get the Gate attribute bonus. No shocker with these rulings. Everyone was in "Tournament rules suck" mode. Now it comes to a shock to some players. I've played tournament rules before. It's fun, it requires more thinking. It balances the playing field because it does not make bakugan a "The player with the highest G-power bakugan" wins game.
December 13, 2009 at 7:13 pm #351234Oh I just saw the Haos tigrera is a translucent one.

December 13, 2009 at 6:50 pm #351191Esk, what you say is not true at all. Every Bakugan has a rarity level, even though SpinMaster doesn't say it, because each Bakugan is released in different amounts. Everyone knows SpinMaster's horrible distribution. That's what makes some Bakugan rare. The fact that if the Bakugan at hand is an original series 1 size also contributes to the rarity level. Translucent Haos Fear Ripper is actually up there with Gold Fear Ripper and Comic Con Neo, maybe even rarer than both. Why do you think Ernie wants to get his hands on one so badly? Zero sites sell it (at least not affordably), and hardly anyone ever sells it on eBay.
That's true. The distribution is so poor that some bakugan are rare. Actually some NV series are now rare. The NV sets BakuGlow, BakuClear, BakuNeon (original), BakuSwap are now rare because of the stuff that came out. I think the better term is more collectible for these sets. These series even if we are sick and tired of seeing them will not be hard to find. And if bakugan gets more popular which could happen if they start doing the bakugan leagues then you' d probably see the prices shoot up like crazy. Im actually considering buying 1 or 2 gold fear reaper for keeps before they sky rocket to a couple hundred dollars.
December 13, 2009 at 2:27 am #350949Okayz. At my Target they had about 25 new B2 BakuSteel boosters. Problem is........THEY WERE ALL VENTUS ALTAIRS!!!
LOL that is too funny. You should have taken picture.
