Anyways yes, it was surely said that Bakugan Trap must be played before abilities.@BakuganryIn the rulebook it also says that you can only play at the begininng of battle, the rules are contradicting themselves because SM are idiots.It also says that all SA Bakugan are special treatment but also says that The attribute changing Preyas is not Special treatment...
Im a little confused so let us clear it up.What is it on the rulebook that you are talking about? A Trap or an ability card?

Stated what before? I know Ernie clarified that the cards from the Bronze attack will work on the "Bronze colored" bakugan from the BakuBronze Series. So does that mean if I play "Perfect Aim" (play before you roll) I can't play a trap anymore??

Pretty sure you're supposed to play traps in the beginning of a battle, before abilities.

Again people not reading the rules properly. 3.03: How do you play a Bakugan Trap?You may play one of your Trap during a battle as long as the Trap and Bakugan have the same attribute. For example, if you are using a Pyrus Bakugan in that battle you need to use a Pyrus Trap.

My mom came back from work today and had a BRONZE ATTACK STORM SKYRESS for me! I was so excited, it looks so awesome, and the card is so powerful, it is almost unstoppable.
All of the Freedom Cards do the same thing just for different attribtues. And its only almsot unstoppable when used right and when you're bonus on the card is high enough. Also remmeber this means you can't use a trap (Except in one special case) though I doubt you'd want to. AND teh card is situational to a point since you can't use it whenever you pelase.
Umm you still can use a trap. You have the play the card first and because the gatecard bonus is added at end and the card text says "Your bakugan" not "Your pyrus (or another attribute) gets the gate bonus..." The "Play during battle on an opponent's gatecard where you have a bronze pyrus (or another attribute)" is ONLY the condition to allow you to play the card. After you play this card then you can play a atrap and the bakugan will get the bonus from the card.
Nope because the effect goes away when you change attributes. I too thought that the cards worked the way you posted but apprently they don't...
Where does it say on the rules or card that the effect goes away? Again you have to remember that gate card bonuses happen last and like I pointed out it does not say "Your pyrus bakugan gets the gate card..." it says "Your bakugan gets the gate card..."
Helf of the rules aren't actually listed int he rules ya know. SM confirmed it IIRC
See thats the problem. Unless an officially ruling is released by SM then a lot of the so called rules from players will be heresay. Do you have the chat logs regarding this particular card when SM clarified it? This will be solid proff on how its played.

September 2, 2009 at 4:06 pm #280530Again you should thank SM for the confusion. They should have added some form of instruction saying “You cannot use MAxus drago as a whole for brawling” or like “You can only use individual parts and trap them like regular bakugan or traps”
September 2, 2009 at 12:53 am #280334Im not sure if this is old news but I saw a Maxus Drago character pack. It came with some other character packs which Im not sure if they are new but I've never seen or noticed them before.
