March 22, 2010 at 1:15 pm #384554Bakugan is like Beyblade, the show only exists to push merchandise. In season 2 of Beyblade it was all about magnets, than in season 3 it was all about engine gears than the hard metal system. Bakugan is the same, while I see no logical reason to ditch the traps, they will. Cause it's all about battle gear now.
March 22, 2010 at 1:10 pm #384553Good episode, I was more interested in the Vexos though. Zenoheld is such an idiot it's funny, the next episode looks really interesting. I really thought they forgot about Volt's development. I just hope Mylene doesn't share whatever fate Zenoheld gets. I don't expect her to become a goody goody but she's too smart to sink with Zenoheld's ship. Actually when Zenoheld was looking for someone to blame I was hoping she would give him a big fat "I told you so!"

March 10, 2010 at 3:44 pm #380375Hmmm I did wanna see Assail Farbros vs Helios & Drago but I hadn't considered them both using Maxus transformations. If they did that than they would have easily won so I'm kinda glad they didn't use them. Still, Farbros done blown up and it doesn't look like we'll get a rematch.
With Farbros kinda sploded, unless they pull even more story out of their asses and give Zenoheld another Farbros (MK II!!!!!11oneonelololol!!), it can no longer happen.
Hey as long as Dan gets a rematch with Zenoheld than I'd love to see him get an evolved Farbros.
You mean attribute energy right?
Yes
March 10, 2010 at 3:17 pm #380368I'm thinking the Phantom Data episode was just a preview, sorta like having a pokemon appear in a movie that's not in the current generation (Like the Manaphy film). While the episode seemed out of place, I think it's just the Gundalians probing Earth for weakness and we have yet to see the repercussions of Baron's screw-up.
That makes sense, hope you're right.
Too much stuff is getting recycled in this series to keep it interesting for me. I wouldn't mind a quick end, if you ask me.
Than brace yourself cause Gundalian Invaders isn't going to be any different.
That's a bit of a pre film school response. There is too much at stake for the good guys to truly "lose". If they truly lose, they die, all the Bakugan die, and it's series over. (In my opinion, the fact that the good guys lost and were then allowed to escape is even MORE contrived than if they had won). The good guys winning in the end is a foregone conclusion, but the process that shows them overcoming and defeating the problem to become victorious is what makes the story interesting. Sure a good-guy can always win if the story is written well enough that the adversity and triumph are believable.People who say that the characters need to lose every once in awhile don't know how to write well. Like I said, in a lot of stories a single loss can cost a character everything and the story would end. I feel that the kind of pressure that should have been in New Vestroia was severely and unforgivably downplayed, especially when Dan and the others were allowed to escape. Mylene used my words exactly and Zenoheld has clearly never read the list of things a Warlord should never do.It also seemed out of character for him. He blows Gus away with huge cannons and then lets his arch foes just waltz out without hindrance? WHA!?
Yes, I agree. The whole thing made little sense and lacked the danger factor. Ever since the brawlers got the attribute symbols they've been too relaxed.

March 8, 2010 at 3:44 pm #333805First, Dan and Spectra are gonna have the FINAL battle in the next episode.
Spectra is just a rival. If this is really gonna be the final battle than we'll always think Zenoheld was stronger than Dan.He didn't go all out but he still beat them both, doesn't that feel unsatisfying?
March 7, 2010 at 12:33 am #377926They only skipped one episode but who cares really? Now they're ahead.
March 5, 2010 at 1:03 am #376794Why does the quality suck so much?
March 5, 2010 at 12:57 am #376787good thing mylene isnt here i mean im sorry but she is a B****
That's why she's so great. Mylene is good at what she does, she's also really strong and cunning. What other girl can beat Ace twice?

One of my favs is Volt because hes brawler that actually respects other brawlers and bakugan.
I liked Volt too until the episode he battled Gus. He told Volt that what he was doing was wrong but he wouldn't leave the Vexos. Than he acts like he cares about Brontes when he's helping to kill him.
I think of Volt as one of those "I don't want to be evil, but I don't know what else to do" things. He seems like a pretty honorable brawler, but unless the Resistance convinces him to join them (which they're probably not- Although it would get rid of Baron...), he has no real other choice.
I wanted to think he was like that but he isn't. He could have accepted Gus's offer, he could have asked Shun to join the Resistance in samurai showdown instead of fighting him but he didn't. Instead he tried to take the Ventus energy and help power the BT system, he did it again when he tag teamed with Mylene. Volt is just too much of a hypocrite, he says he cares about Brontes while he's battling for the genocide of it's race.
