Just in my opinion, guys should be honest with their gfs. I agree that if a girl cant accept your hobbies, that she's not worth it if she's really that shallow. Although waiting to tell her is smart. I'm a girl, and I'm not a nerd either. I waited to tell my friends and significant other (relationship is complicated at the moment) that I like bakugan, and their fine with it. They just accept my hobby, and in my opinion I think it'd be cool if people would just accept people for the way they are. But then again, if your the type that likes the stereotypical hot girl, then its probably best to keep your bakugan hobby a secret. Good luck to you though 😉
