If you notice it doesn't say “bronze attack” it reads “bronze pyrus” or bronze whatever depending on the card. I would assume that these cards can be used with any bronze bakugan as long as the printed attribute matches the card. Although I must admit the bronze attack bakugan do look pretty sweet!

personally I wish the cards were normal sized, starting ASAPthis is my biggest gripe
July 29, 2009 at 3:27 am #263267Says who? I use sleeves on my gate cards all the time!Never made a difference...
July 28, 2009 at 4:02 am #262704Actually guys I'm really sorry, but I don't really remember exactly how things went down play by play…I do remember I actually did use the metal fencer card along with one of the fencers to change thier attribute so they got no gate bonus.. got that one.. Also remember that I used the preyas switch card to change to pyrus to use that trap... Also remember they played a lock n load card and I got all my used abilities back... Remember that the color drain gate was pretty much a gimme... uhm.... They also played blue green combine and switched me to an attribute with no gate bonus which i countered with blue green combine as well and changed them to the same attribute.. aquos i believe it was... we were still tied (they were first on the gate so I would have lost) until I played legends of earth which gave my 'aquos' bakugan a 30 g bonus... enough to win the final gate... I wish I could remember all the details... It was a perfectly executed strategy!
July 27, 2009 at 7:52 pm #262487............................................................................one word-WOW
I play to win and always bring my A game!I was so disappointed to hear you can't actually challenge the "pros" at the upcoming mall tour event...I KNOW I could take at least 2 or 3 of them down!😉
July 27, 2009 at 7:21 pm #262471Here's the cards I chose to play:Earthen Mound (silver gate)Deep Well (silver gate)Crushing Blow (gold gate)Teamwork (gold gate)Overhang (copper gate)Drain Color (copper gate)Metal Fencer (red ability)Magnetic Action (red gate)Blue-Green Combine (green ability)Preyas Switch (green ability)Legends of Earth (blue ability)Predictable Oppenent (blue ability)Pyrus Fencer (Ventus/Darkus)Pyrus Fencer (Subterra/Aquos)I built my entire strategy around changing not just the attributs of my Preyas, but those of my opponent as well.It worked out nicely... between blue green combine and the fencer card as well as traps and Preyas Switch, I pulled some wicked move that left my opponent stunned. I actually started using her strategy against her! LOLAll said and done this set up worked out very nicely and I would most certainly play it again!P.S. - I won, 6 gates to 3... Still think Preyas stink?P.P.S. - My opponent didn't roll a single bakugan under 700g!Conclusion:PREYAS PARTY = SUCCESS!!!
July 25, 2009 at 8:01 pm #261944Interesting idea but the majority of my opponents marbles are in the high 600's and low 700's.. They always seem to take the classic "brute force" approach to brawling so cards like that are never an issue.
July 25, 2009 at 7:35 pm #261504Random G Power would kind of be a waste of a 'slot' for me. I can pretty much pop'em how I need'em to pop on my own.Preys switch would be a no-brainer... Knowing my opponent has some sneaky mean cards means I need to be choosey with both abilities and gates..Additionally my opponent always rolls a Ventus/Pyrus combo with not a single marble under 600g.That being said I have a strategy in mind but I'm not gonna post it here yet... (she reads this board too!)Any thoughts on traps? With the exception of prerelease fortress traps and stuff, I have pretty much every trap there is at my disposal including non North American or yet to be released in NA traps...Input is appreciated!(I'm also trying to get you guys to think strategicly) 😉
July 25, 2009 at 6:48 pm #261930Is that an import Pyrus Diablo?
Dude, unless you live in China, THEY'RE ALL IMPORTS!I'm not sure if this is actually a North American release, but it is shown in the TRU exclusive DVD...
July 25, 2009 at 6:47 pm #261928I'm actually going to be playing this line up tonight using big game rules…Any thoughts on card suggestions?I have full card sets except for n cards so it's kinda open....I have some thoughts on some different strategies considering my opponent's 'habits' but I'm curious to hear what the community suggests!
July 25, 2009 at 7:59 am #261717Haven't counted in a while, but if I had to guess, I'd say well over 350 including my wife's…We spend way too much on Baku's....

I try to avoid getting involved in argumentative topics, but would like to present two thoughts here:1. It's not all about g-power. For those who claim having high g-power bakugan is unfair need to consider altering their strategy. My hubby plays with an 800g Alpha Percival, as well as a few 700+g darkus ones I can't recall off the top of my head, and despite having 'high g-power' bakus, he'll never admit it, but he has lost on a few occasions playing against one of our friends whose highest baku is 600 something. Using cards that benefit a lower g-power baku, as well as playing his Lars Lion card which drives him nuts, having higher g-power bakus hasn't necessarily given him any real unfair advantage, if anything, it makes cards that benefit lower bakus like low bridge, etc, wonderful.2. Certain Bakus may not be available in NA, but just as we are obtaining non-NA releases for our collections, its never stopped anyone else from getting them. They may be more expensive, but they are still available to access via ebay or other sources for 'you' as much as they are available for 'me'. Just because someone plays with one, I've never seen it as unfair, but rather, as a challenge on how to alter my strategy and topple 'Goliath' as 'Peter' if that makes sense. If official rules end up specifying that all bakus in tournament play must be NA release only, then no biggie, but try to change how you guys look at the non-NA releases - if you see someone playing with them, no biggie - change your strategy and you'll be able to topple them. It's not how big the g-power is, it's how you use those bakus, heh. Just my two cents and nothing more.

See, you I can respect. Its not all about the g's, but to be fair, they shouldn't be used in brawls. I do believe that they still are gonna be released, and for all the collectors out there, go ahead and purchase it for the bakugan, but not for the brawls. Tha is all I wanna get out there, but baku813 blows out on me. That is my, probably, eh, 12 cents. ;D
Naruto, I think you missed the point entirely... I use "Non-NA" release Bakugan all the time in matches.. and as my lovely wife pointed out, IT'S NOT ALWAYS ABOUT HIGHER G POWER! A friend of ours doesn't have a sigle Bakugan above 600g and yet I've lost to him the past 4 times we've brawled. My typical "big game" team consists of an 800g Darkus Alpha Percival, a 710g Ventus Fourtress amoung other "non-NA" release Bakugan. I used to win every time, but then both my wife and my friend "got wise" to my strategies and changed up thiers.A resourceful brawler uses everything at thier disposal, including wit and creativity to devise winning strategies that work for them. The game is MOST definitely NOT just about who has the highest g power! And yes, I hate that #@^! Lars Lion card... Gets me every time......until I change up MY strategy!
