You can't use Meta Altair in official rules, only if your oppenent agrees that you can use it.

I'm not saying you can't use it this one time without knowing. Currently there are no rules on how to use combination Bakugan, so for now your oppenent needs to agree. But Meta Altair is easier to beat than Maxus Helios/Drago.
