SonicI grew up playing sonic games, I only played a few mario games, the idea of a plumber running around didn't seem intresting to meI still play sonic today, even if I have started to dislike it because they are starting to side track (Secret rings, A werehog, a Knight). In my opinion the games of the sega genisis were the best.

the sonic games ive been playing are sonic chronicals:the dark brotherhood, sonic rush,almost all of the first sonic games(sonic and knucles,sonic the hedgehog) sonic is way better than mario

It's really close as I play a LOT of both XD, but if I had to go with one I'd say Sonic, due to the faster gameplay and the win of the BGM on Sonic: Rush and its sequel.
