STD and Esk, that is exactly why I don't tell anyone I like Bakugan. I really hate the "popularity" thing in middle school. I remember the days of elementary school when you could actually express your feelings without being afraid of people making fun of you. The only thing I hate more than popular people who are jerks are people who think they are cool and act like the popular people and make fun of everyone, when in reality nobody likes them. The middle school social heirarchy is EXTREMELY ironic sometimes. The people who make fun of others really have no right, since they have nothing better to do than make fun of the said people. Oh well, I just figure all of the slackers who think they are popular because of it will get what they deserve in high school, possibly college and afterwards when they get terrible grades and a bad job.

AMEN! bout time but where im at the popular people arent snobs infact some of my friends are "popular" and when i did bring bakugan to school they done the exact oppisite one girl liked brontes another liked ingram and they had a blast

It all gets better in high school. Seriously… more freedom, MOST of the kids are more mature and won't make fun of you.I don't tell anyone I like bakugan though haha. Since I am part of that popular group in my high school, and I live in Los Angeles, were EVERYTHING is DRAMA... especially at schools like mine. But, the younger kids, and middle schoolers, its kinda a joke, they are doing things we wouldn't have even thought of, since they are trying to act older..

Definately is, I mean it was so bad for me in MS, I surprised I didn't go emo (nobody knew I like TFs then, and that was before the movies, so imagine how bad it would be if they knew)

Eh, one of the things I've been told about Hollywood by people in the business of entertainment is:"They don't want it good, they want it by Thursday."Still, what happened to making it good by Thursday? A lot of the shows I watched back in the day actually had a sense of humor. Nowadays it's Spongebob, Fairly-Oddparents-style animation, and crap.Oh, imported stuff from Italy and Japan is mixed in there somewhere, seeing as we can't make anything good in this country anymore so we have to import it from overseas. It used to be that when a cartoon was imported, it was either to a niche audience or it was a show that was written in America and animated in a place that did it by hand rather than with Adobe Flash in an effort to actually make a GOOD show! And I can't blame it on growing up! Some of these shows from the past that I never saw when I was a kid still fascinate me as an adult whereas the shows I see nowadays have all the same gags to a hip-hop opening (At least Bakugan didn't get the "4kids One Piece" treatment for the opening song...). It's just awful. No wonder kids are spending more time online nowadays than before: there's nothing on TV!!

in the 70's, 80's and 90's, almost everything was going well without technology. then there comes technology, what we are using to this day. when technology came in, everyone was in awe, thinking it will make life easier.

      but they were wrong..................

it has made people a WHOLE lot lazier (like me, i'm a victim). technology is the main reason we are experiencing pollution and illegal logging.technology is why we are losing most of our natural resources. technology is 1 out of 10 reasons for war as well.

      but not only technology

we humans should take some of the blame for the abuse of technology.as far as i know, a lot of things changed since the 70's.P.S. everything i said was my opinion. so don't go saying " um don't blame technology at all " or anything like that. it is all my opinion.

People who grew up in the 70s say this about the 80s, people who grew up in the 80s say this about the 90s, and of course people who grew up in the 90s say this about the newest generation

No, they didn't... Anyway I agree on this I keep thinking it over and over again but something that I think you guys are overlooking are shows that AREN'T cartoons, those are most certainly getting better and better. But based on this ocnversation I'd say you're all looking only at cartoons which are just getting more and more bleh. Ugh a perfect example of this is Spongebob, watch an old episode and you'll more than likely laugh, watch a new episode and you want to blow your brains out.

ok on Disney and Cartoon Network it is usually pretty weird and bad I agree but on Nick there are quality shows like Icarly and True Jackson that both kids and adults can enjoy

Yeah but its those two shows and Spongebob that the network is. I never really counted True Jackson though as Iven't watched it before. I'll just stick to my Law and Order and Secret Life
