I honestly don't know and that frustrates me. >:[If I can't can't understand the rules than they obviously aren't using any. 0:]What I know is this:All brawlers start with 500 life points which are taken away after loosing a battle. The amount is equal to how much higher your opponent's G-Power was and when you're out of life points you're out of the game. That much I get, it's the battles make no sense and don't seem to follow any kind of order or consistency.During battle they activitie ability card after ability card and it looks like the only time they stop is because they just give up. Next up is Bakugan ganging up on eachother. What's the deal? By what they're doing in the show, you can use 1 trap and however many Bakugan you darn well please.And the gate cards just seem to only open when the player wants them to, sometimes a battle will end without it ever opening. Really, someone please explain the rules of New Vestroia battles.

I think the writers or whoever just decide whose going to win than fill the battle with something to look at. Maybe they think their audience aren't smart enough to figure out what's going on.

well it looks like in new vestroia,you need a gauntlet to brawl instead of the old fashined way(by launchers and hand thrown).and it looks like the new rules are you can use as many bakugan as you want.like how spectra and dan used 7 bakugan each!(maxus helios and maxus drago) lol that was an epic battle! during battle,the bigger the impact,the more points get knocked off the life gage of meter of whatever its called.like how zenoheld beat dan and spectra at the same time with just one round.but then again,the vexos weren't playing by the rules in the last few episodes.prof. clay was entering cheat codes to make the all living bakugan useless and it doesn't effect mechanical bakugan.stupid clay and his gameshark!XD

The used to have a capture rule when one bakugan is 500g higher and beats the lower bakugan, however I think they ditched that after Dan used apollonir to rescue drago…

After that, the highest win became 450 points, so the rule was just never executed.
