Im a rather older player and my son also collects and plays. He's more into playing and im more into collecting. We live in Ohio. I saw bakugan over a year ago at a walmart and tried to get my son interested in them at that time, LOL, but while he said it looked cool he was more interested in other things. I even asked him if the kids at school had them or if he had seen the show. Well this year i guess the kids all have them and he likes them even more so “santa” brought him a bakutin and about 5 starter packs plus someone gave him a booster pack and the bakubelt ( came with 2 bakugan, one was translucent exclusive ). I have been slowly buying ( and hiding ) them for a while now. Every time i find new ones i grab a few as well as any special ones like clear or translucent. His favorites are his high g-power ones. He has a 700g subterra clayf, a 670 pyrus hammer gorem and a 610 pearl/white pyrus dragonoid ( or maybe its a wavern? i will have to re check ) All of his are B2.My favorites are the hydranoids. I'm trying to get them all. Currently i have B2 darkus, B2 Pyrus, darkus, reverse color darkus, clear darkus, clear aquos, clear pyrus, clear haos, pearl/white subterra, pearl/white darkus and a reverse color subterra ( it could just be a regular subterra but i think its a reverse as the highlights are lighter and i think on subterra the highlights are usually darker )Feel free to add your collection to your signature. If they get too bid then i will have to limit the length so try to abbreviate when possible.

I am in California's bay area (San Francisco region). I found out about Bakugan after seeing my co-worker with it. I work in a toy company so it's a given we have toys everywhere! I checked out the anime and fell in love with the gameplay. I thought I was the only one that is older (23 yrs old) that collects them! Lol. Guess I'm not alone!

Hello, I saw these balls all over the shelfs at the store and I was like “I dont know what this is, but why do I want it so much?” I grabed a few out of impulse, and then reading the rules , grabed 3 more balls (whatever you guys want to call them)so now, its my new pokemon (have so much pokemon)However, there are some issues I have, mostly with new games like this is the rules. There seems to be a series 1 and 2, and no way to tell. The pacakging doesnt tell you what one is the starter packs (in fact I belive the store didnt carry any) and the other issue is a "flood" of merchandice related to the game, but not part OF the game, a board game, a card game with dice, figures.... I watched the anime, and... imo its not really worth watching (sorry)the anime , eh. its just "we fight! YAY!" and thats it. Its lacking. And thats sad because it could really have a good plot to it, but its made to promote the game, and thats fine. At least the actualy play by the rules of the real game (you hear me yugioh! GAH!) But the look of the charters is good.Anyway, the marble/balls themselfs are really just fun, the colors of the balls dont always match what type they are - for example i have a white ball with a blue marking. But ah well. Over all I think its a pretty fun game, I nead to get the playmat next so we can roll better (doing it on carpet is okay but not great)Also, one more issue, the main offical page, I cant register. The thing seems to glitch. I get to page two of the regtration and the link that (should) send you to the next step does not, futher more, upon just entering the next page into my browser i found the final link also sends you back to itself, so -- there registration is badly broken. Odd, because I've seen posts there (thats how i found this page)gah. At least I was able to register here!

Hi there! Glad that someone else is actually here on this forum! Actually there is a way to tell if it is a series 1 or 2. Besides a slight size increase for series 2, the starters say B2, and bigger, more powerful brawlers. As for the White with Blue markings, it is a Bakupearl, special bakugans that you obtained from the Blue Bakutin, I assume. There are many kinds of Bakugans, you can check them out here:http://bakuganbuzz.com/bakugan-attributes-or-colors/Hope this helps clear some confusion!

Hey Welcome to Bakugan Buzz. You will find alot of info here that will help you sort things out. I refer to the different "shapes" of bakugan as "types" and each "type" comes in many different color combinations. If you goto the "marble types" pageyou will see that there is about 50 different types of bakugan and those 50 come in many different colors. There are 6 "attributes" which i believe come from the anime story and refer to different planets. Each of these 6 attributes NORMALLY have a color scheme associated with them. However there are special color schemes that do not follow the normal "rules" and i think that makes those bakugan a little more rare and collectible ( my personal opinion ). For example your white with blue is refferred to as Pearl white Aquos , as the main color is the special pearl/white but the highlight of color blue ( along with the attribute symbol ) refer to the Aquos attribute. As for the series, the original bakugan size was 29mm and there was a series 1 and 2. I dont think series one was labeled as such but series two did say " series 2 " After that came the "BakuPearl" series and all of the bakugan from that series and on were also called "B2" versions as they were bigger ( 32mm ) in size. The next series is the "Bakuclear" and after that is the latest series "Bakuswap". The series are labeled on each booster/starter and the pearl one is red in color, the clear is yellow and swap is green. So you can tell which series just by the stripe of color on the package. You can goto the booster page or the starter page and see pictures to better understandHope that helps some.
