Yes, it's true I want to try to get more onto the inside of SM, but that's so I can make things better than they are now.Baku-con is a horrible mess! I know this and won't be afraid to tell any SM employee the truth to their faces. The small pictures look nice: People having fun, interacting with each other and enjoying the events, but the bigger picture is not nearly so pretty with accusations (often well founded) of people cheating and questionable judging along with complaints of age-brackets, poor national coverage, and initially an expensive cover-charge. This whole thing will be chalked up as a huge loss for Spinmaster when the numbers get crunched. It was a shot at a fun, innocent tournament to hype Bakugan that has been plagued with high expectations not being fulfilled, a casual approach being brought to a serious fanbase, and competition bringing out the darker sides in people. What Spinmaster is trying to do now is get their act together and try to have some order at their own finals. Hopefully they will do a better job. If I could get into such a position that I could flash some other TCGOP business models in their faces and get some changes made then I would!

^this X 9000. Yeah, I was begining to wonder, what is SM gaining from this? Now that it's free, they can really only lose money.

I dont see how one decision is getting their act together, they made a huge mistake and have to pick up the pieces, but yeah, I guess I will have to continue my search for that Ventus Viper Helios, or I will just change my strat all together DX

I said they're trying. I also know that this one decision won't solve everything. This whole thing is just nuts.If we meet up in NYC before you have to brawl, I could bring my screwdrivers and try to fix your Myriad, if you want.
Nah, I have that stuff, Its just that Myriad Hades is bad quality by nature, so I most likely will just use a different bakugan DX

pff, good luck with that. I've tried getting another one. Failed with that. With everything going on clearence, I don't think you'll be able to get one anymore. The only thing that we did wrong was ask them about it. If we had never ask if we could use GI Bakugan, we could clearly get away with it.Oh and as for Kohdok, yes, SM lost so much money. The way they hosted it was amature. Top 16 for EACH day. making 32 people being flown to NY for the nationals.. That's the first thing I should point out. I could point more, like the 2 DAYS they had to have it on. Still alot more. Still they already make enough money as it is.I hate banned cards.....I love Sneasle and Slowking while I'm at it. Both banned in the Pokemon TCG because they were too good. Which is true....
I agree with SM's ruling. GI is "supposed" to be released AFTER BakuCon. Not to mention they couldn't really defend their statement of Ultra Dragonoid being the highest G-Power. To top it all off, the idiotic workers have trouble figuring out the rules as it is, Battle Gear and such would make it WAY harder for them. SpinMaster already had a reputation for being unorganized, and this would just add to the mess.
Well, THEY made them, and THEY released spoilers, so it's their fault. Can someone give me a link to the topic so I don't have to search through a bunch of crud?
http://my.bakugan.com/orca/topic/–2010-02-12-52.htm#topic/–2010-02-12-52.htmIt's not SM's fault that a store put out their GI early. When the store orders their products, they are told a street date. They're not supposed to release the product before then.

A store? They're at Target too ya know... Anyway, no matter how much everyone disagrees, we can't change SM's mind. They've made their decision. And their decision ****s XDD
I didn't say specifically one. It was a hypothetical “a.” I'm really getting tired of all the nitpicking that's going around.

The way I see it, idc when they came out where, they have been used already in over half of the previous Cons, yet now SM decides to tell us we can't use them. I would completely understand where you're coming from on this, except that the Battle Masters did in fact know they were GIs and allowed them here in Orlando, in LA, and most likely in Dallas too. If they really didn't want them used, why wait for NY to decide that? They really need to get more organized IMO...
ugh, it's basically all of our fault, for even mentioning the new GI Bakugan and Baku-Con together. If we hadn't mention it, most people would of been able to use them. Who even mentioned it first to SM anyway…..Stronger…..

That would be NP who contacted Lord Darkus directly.

LD "supposedly" never got the message.
Yeah, he never got the message, so overall it was stringers topic.
